well, i haven't heard much trance, but one song i downloaded that i think kind of sucks is For An Angel by Paul Van Dyk. sorry if you like this, it just doesn't catch my attention at all

exactly, not every tune with male vocals sucks! i mean if the song is quality then it's quality. i could say i don't like house but then there are tons a really quality tunes which i haven't heared before and could like! don't judge a track because of a simple assumption!

after spending an hour looking through this thread i came to the following conclusion:

either 1. there are no producers worth it at all out there (since every single popular producer was mentioned)

or... 2. its just that people have different tastes.

for example.. i hate all picotto's tracks they all sound the same boring to me but believe it or not there is people out there who likes them.

personally i like pvd's tracks although lot of people in here hate them. and guess what i even like southern sun tiesto mix. so i guess there's no point arguing cause there are others out there that have the same opinion as me and others who have the exact opposite. its a matter of personal taste.

I actually like most of the songs mentioned... but anyways, I consider these songs somewhat overrated:

William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Yeah, this is probably sacreligious or something... I think it's a decent song, but nothing great. The breakdown is nice but I think after that it's a bit overpowering.

Paul van Dyk - For An Angel (E-Werk Club Mix)
Alright, so I don't think it's bad... in fact, it's one of my favourite songs. But I don't think it's the best PVD production (Another Way, Out There And Back and Face To Face beat it, IMO) and it's certainly not the best song ever. Oh well.

Oh, right, nearly forgot. Nearly all Hiver & Hammer remixes... maybe I'm missing something, but I don't consider them all that great. Mediocre for the most part (although I do like their take on Kosheen's "Catch").

Silence, or Delerium, or whoever the hell makes it, sucks ass. Sarah McLaughin (sp?) makes a complete screwup of that track.
