Glad you all had fun. I was thinking of you all while doing some drunk line dancing in Florida. Wish I could have been there.

Posted by Beings on Mar-23-2009 17:01:

Was the Koolhaus dancing space reduced last night? I remember a few times the DJ space/booth being much higher, sort of in the wall, which made the dancing area bigger.

KH was too freaking packed by 1am, no room to dance, unless you were in the washroom stall.

I think the stage was the same size, what made the dance floor smaller was the bottle service booths added on the dance floor which took up a bit of space, along with the amount of people there to see Armin. After he was finished the majority of the crowd left.

WHAT who did??!! Damn I love this song shame I missed it (original is better though IMO)

Anyways, WICKED night soooooo glad to see everyone out and spend the night with you guys! Markus was AWESOME! Decided to catch him instead of Armin since I wasn't down with the insane crowd in KH and the not-so-fantastic first 20 mins or so of Armin's set. Menno ahhh MENNO! Played lots of yum tracks that I wanted to hear. Only complaint was that he finished too early. Finishing before 6:30 am is wayyyyyyy too early! Then again, I felt that the vibe wasn't that great in KH for the last hour or so. I found that too many people were standing around chatting while observing him spin instead of dancing, but whatever, I definitely was not one of those people
Overall, fantastic night! Thanks Matt for getting me up on stage with Menno <3 SOOO AWESOME!!!!! Nice meeting you btw Chad. And kotsy, where the hell were you??!!

Until the next event!

04. Neptune Project - Aztec (Aly & Fila Remix)
14. Ozcan - Timewave Zero

here's what we have so far the list is not in order

The "Neptune Project" track has to be the "Original Mix", since it's the version Armin's been playing for weeks. Confirmed by the guys of Neptune Project.

As for the "Timewave Zero", i believe it's from "Ummet Ozcan".

You can add those tracks, taken from other Armin vids from that night :

- Lisa Miskovsky - Still Alive (Raver Rework)
- Da Others - Flight 887 (Andrea Saenz Robots Memory 7E Mix)
- Armin van Buuren & DJ Shah Feat. Chris Jones - Going Wrong

Had a great time on Saturday, tons of friends showed up. Line up was pretty bad however took us like 30 minutes to get in when we got there at 10:30.

Matthew Dekay - Caught about an hour of him. I haven't really heard of him, so I didn't know what to expect. He played a really good opening set played nice and hard, also had a great flow.

7.5/10

Gareth Emery - I heard that he was alright last time here at contact, I would agree with those people. He had good track selection but had no flow at all, it was always up and down in terms of energy. He played Mauro Picotto - New Time, New place!

6.5/10

Armin Van Buuren - I was there for his first hour, crowd was getting really excited to see him, opened with a couple good tracks. The crowd got really outta hand, it was hot and everyone was pushy so I just stayed towards the back and waited till 2 AM to come around for Markus. I heard he was playing really well after I left though :S
I missed System F - Exhale

7.5/10

Markus Schulz - The Main DJ I wanted to see. He had a camera crew with him recording him, I guess it's for promo for his Toronto 09 CD. Started off the first hour of his set with really proggy Dakota - Kool Haus, and The Doorway mmm. After the first hour he played a lot of of popular club bangers Full Tiltin, Platinum, Perspective Space, and BRAIN BOX!! etc. Markus NEVER disappoints when I see him

8.5/10

Track ID anyone? Played about 3-4 tracks into his set.

Menno De Jong - Menno played a nice closing set, looked like he was having a lot of fun! He played a lot of great tracks and full of classics. I wished he played longer though :S Loved his encore track and Simon Patterson - Us!

Basic Dawn - Pure Thrust (Nu-NRG Remix)

+ 1

I have been loving this guy for a while now. He did lose me at the start for about 15 minutes but the rest was great. Hopefully someone gets it right the next time he comes and books him in the appropriate club and line up. FW or even Gallery when the rest of the club isn't full of epic trance would be good for him.

He's also a great guy and really loves to party. Looking forward to checking him out on Friday at the Dirtybird party at WMC.

Lol. You're very welcome.

Although, you may want to correct Ian's description of my verbage that promulgated the photo-op from his review earlier as it's, well, just a shade off.
