It's like they already know I'm going to defect and set up a drug lab working for Los Zetas in Tamaulipas or something. I need to find out who told them.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on May-20-2009 23:13:

You did, remember? You were drunk and said it would be "a challenge".

I'm sorry that I have more important things in my life than worrying about conspiracy theories and going out of my way to exercise my rights for no reason but to "stick it to the man". I would rather live a normal life than be a paranoid freak that is afraid of everyone and everything.

Basically just a bunch of insecure men that have inferiority complexes that go out of their way to cause trouble with the law because maybe it'll make them feel like a real man for 15 minutes.

God, you're such a dumb cracker.

It's O.K. if it gives you a sense of personal achievement to stand up to authority then go right ahead and be a man. I'll be secure enough in my own self to know who I am instead of picking fights to inflate my ego.

I will say this again.

YES, BECAUSE THE GESTAPO WAS A CONSPIRACY THEORY. Fuck man, are you this god damn dense?

i'm sorry but the only thing you really have to do is identify yourself to an officer... it isn't my fault that when I choose to uphold my right to keep my mouth shut they try to violate the law and force me into doing something I'm not required to. I don't pick fights but they don't like it when you don't cooperate even though it is your right not to.

He thinks it's okay for anyone of authority, including his boss at work, to just walk into his house and search his place. He has nothing to hide, so why not?

ugh fucking people.

Posted by Zild on May-20-2009 23:38:

It has almost gotten to the point where people are so fucking ridiculous that officers/agents are starting to use a refusal to search as probable cause because they deem it suspicious behavior.

Yeah I know. Which is stupid. I have challenged searches too, but then they are like, "Well if you have nothing to hide, then why are you refusing?" People are such fucking sheep, and just don't want to cause a scene, even if they have no need to submit to a search.

I usually don't talk to them just ID myself and keep my mouth shut, but when I have I tell them because it is my right to go on about my business without being subjected to an illegal search and seizure under the 4th amendment of the constitution of the united states of america. They really don't like that one.

Basically if they have to ask to search they don't have probable cause and if they don't have probable cause then you aren't required to consent.

Yeah I am aware. It just fucking blows that they use that as "probable cause" now. Which I have experienced myself.

Posted by Zild on May-20-2009 23:45:

They can try that on me but it won't work. I tell them if they had probable cause they wouldn't have had to ask. Therefore me declining their request doesn't create any probable cause.

Oh yea the scent of marijuana is not ground for probable cause. At least not in the cases I've worked on.

I have heard this too.

Officers are trained to violate citizens rights and lie to them as much as possible. When you waive your rights it really isn't a crime for them to do it either because you gave that up.

The story was in the U.S. not Nazi Germany. If you think that the law enforcement in the U.S. is the equivalent to Germany during the Third Reich then you are out of touch with reality.

How did normal Germany turn into Nazi Germany? Was Germany always secretly a Nazi state? Did it turn Nazi overnight?

I was leaving a slut's house late one night after taking her home from some party. I got pulled over on the way home and of course I had been drinking. They yelled at me to get out of the car, but I didn't say anything and just rolled down the window and gave the officer my ID. He yelled at me some more and I told him I didn't have anything to say to him and that I wasn't going to do or say anything without my attorney present. They told me oh now you're definitely going to need an attorney as they opened my door without permission and pulled me out. They turned off the camera and threw me into the side of my truck a few times and kicked me a little when I would hit the ground but nothing that actually hurt. They cuffed me and put me in the squad car and pushed a breathalizer in my face. I told them didn't you hear what I told you the first time? And laughed in their face. They booked me with DUI, and my father posted bail a few hours later. Then a month down the road the case was dismissed for insufficient evidence.

that definitely isn't the best one i can think of but the easiest and one to tell probably so there you go

Haha, nice. Anyone who has been drinking and gets pulled over, NEVER CONSENT TO ANYTHING. Don't consent to a search, or Breathalyzer, or field sobriety test.

the 5 minute old weimar republic is hardly comparable to a constitutional arrangement that has stood for a few hundred years.
