Yes, I do.

Tracing down our family tree as far back as we could, everyone in our family was Jewish. We know that both sides came from Israel when we did our research, but as far as the blue eyes go - not actually sure where those came into play

And yes, we're practicing Jews

i actually grew up with a few israli jews. like parents spoke nothing but hebrew at home and had israeli newspapers laying around, etc... they are definitely different than regular "american jews".

We have an old Torah that has been handed down from generation to generation with a bunch of jewels and stones on it. My honey and I received it last year as a blessing when we got our house. We have a lot of paintings and things that have been passed down as well.

right so everyone was jewish up until the point where you stopped tracking. Im guessing about 3 or 4 generations. but judging by your visual appearance you probably have scarce traits tied to the ashkenazi jews (original jews). It is possible that down the line that there was definatley some european blood in the mix, probably a covert who married someone of actual jewish decent and so forth. I'm just speculating, the only way to tell would be to do a DNA test.

Highly unlikley though that your 100% ashkenazi.

You're probably right. We tracked back 11 generations actually. (ps that costs a lot of fucking money to have proof it, too)

I was more or less referring to 100% practicing in faith.

right but that simply signifies that the faith was strong in the family for so long. You should try to think about it from a biological perspective and how come racially there are so many different types of jews. Its like any other religion, you have different ethnicities and converts. IT doesnt make sense that the jewish race derived similar features to other europeans or etheopians or chinese who werent of the faith. Obviously they are converts

well at the very least i'm something like 90% kikuyu, maybe some other kenyan tribe in my great grandparents generation and before. although nobody left kenya until my parents generation and africans aren't real fans of marrying into other tribes/groups so a low probability of diversification.
