Andy succumed to pressure today. the media frenzy and just in general trying to become the first brit for like 70 years to win the mens singles. Now they'll poop all over him in the press most likely.
On the other side, there was way more cheering for roddick than I expected, I thought it'd be a really partisan crowd. Guess the posh-toff-nosed-****s don't like the scots.
great result today, delighted for roddick, hes a gent of a bloke and some tennis player, couldnt belive the amount of british shite talk that murray could actually win, they always set them selves up for the fall which is absoutly great viewing they fall at the final hurdle.
america...putting england to shame
goes to two major championships in less than a month (wimbledon/confederations)
i blame it on guy fawkes
i think murray will have a good number of chances to win it all in the next couple of years.
anyways, the "williams" final. yeah the score is close, but i'm just not feeling this match.

it's tough to be a brit and irishman
what a waste of a final, it was boring. i am tired of seeing serena beat venus.

yeah i did not like the way the women's final turned out to be. i kind of did want to see venus win her 6th wimbledon final, but i guess she may have to wait until next year.
i wanted to watch a good match. venus is almost always a disappointment when she plays serena which is such a disappointing ending to a great tournament. venus lost it more so than serena won it...again.
let's hope tomorrow's men's final is more interesting.
i'm very impressed by andy today, nothing close to last year but a good match thus far
Wouldn't it be something if Roddick captures this second set...
roddick is just in the zone right now. let's see if federer can get him out of it. for the first time, i see roddick actually dictating play on federer. usually, federer is the aggressor of the 2.

that volley will torment him forever.
roddick losing those 4 set points in the tie break, eventually losing the 2nd set is going to bite him in the ass.
I think now fed will win it. Andy played well but you don't usually get the chance to go 2 sets up on federer and if you do you really must take it.
andy still has his serve which balances things a bit. i think federer will win but andy hasn't given up
roddick's service game is still kind of stable, but i can clearly see federer starting to work his magic into this match, and controlling the style and tempo.
there there roddick. at least you tried, and brought your A game today. good to see roddick trying his hardest against federer instead of bending over for him.
gavin rossdale looks more into this match than mirka...either way 5th set

Took a nap during the 4th set, and now surprised to see there's a 5th set! How did Andy seemingly win so easy with 6-3?
solid 5th set. it all comes down to who will make the first mistake.
This shit is insane.
.... still waiting for someone to make that first mistake..... i thought it was federer when he was down 15-40 double break point, but came back strong.
