Yes, you're from Massachussets but you moved to North Carolina, a republican state, it shows. And it's a great state too....

Listen, the Republican party is not evil in nature; to be fair, I'll drop a name just for the sake:

ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Bush wasn't great, but he wasn't as horrible as people think. Set aside the "Bush is an evil bloodthirsty war monger" template for a minute, and realize that the economy was fantastic AFTER 9/11 set us back for 5 years, until the inception of the Democrat controlled congress. Incidentally, their approval numbers are worse than his.

For worst ever, see Jimmy Carter. But he's getting a run for his money already right now. And I don't believe all Democrats are evil either, just the far left wing who has hijacked the party.

lol @ Jay for assuming I am a Palin supporter.

yet you cast a vote for her to become vice president.

The Democratic party is "far left?"

Yes he was, and you'd have to be incredibly naive to think he was a perfectly okay guy who just made a few mistakes.

This was a product of a "tax and spend liberal", one you may know as Bill fucking Clinton.

Do I agree with everything the Democrats do? Of course not, they have plenty of worthless government programs. Do they have good intentions, spending money on programs that will help make life a little easier for Americans? Yes. I don't see how government programs that help improve education, health care, infrastructure, and the energy sector are some sort of fucking catastrophe.

You supported the ticket over Obama/Biden, so you supported her in turn.

You truly subscribe to the notion of "evil"?

Posted by lenazi on Aug-26-2009 20:22:

Putting words in my mouth. I never said he was perfectly ok and just made a few mistakes.

haha... it's amazing that when a Republican is president you credit his success to his predecessor, and when a Democrat is president you attribute his failures also to his predecessor. BTW- Bill was forced into the role of moderate once the GOP took control of Congress and the House in '94. He tried twice to veto welfare reform until his advisor Dick Morris told him at the time that if he didn't go along with it, he would lose his bid for re-election. So, beleive me, he didn't achieve what he really wanted; that's being attempted now.

This is the problem- because there are perceived "good intentions" in liberal social welfare programs, we are supposed to give them a pass when the unintended consequences of liberal policies end up creating a mess.

But go ahead being convinced that government programs are helping improve education. Tell that to the kids in D.C. who just had their private school vouchers yanked off the table by Obama. And how are liberal policies improving the energy sector right now? I'd like to know.

I didn't vote.... because I couldn't bring myself to compromise my conservative values for a man who prides himself in trying to be more like a Democrat.

Yeah, he killed a girl, but his brother John F Kennedy died, and he survived a massive plane crash and still helped pass all sorts of bills to help millions of Americans, so while he was a piece of shit sometimes, overall he was a good guy. Unlike the guy in that picture you just quoted.

the problem with federalists and separatists is that many (not all of course) associate blindly with their hearts without knowing all of the issues and possible repercussions. (kind of like much of the idiocy that can be attributed to some people with both the democratic and republican parties in the united states. they are one or the other for life no matter what the platform, which is retarded imo).

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Aug-26-2009 20:37:

They're both still just dumb apes that will be completely forgotten in a thousand years, just like the rest of us.
