Am I the only one who enjoyed the first few episodes of The Beautiful Life TBL?

They took it off the air, and they're still airing the less interesting Melrose Place? Ugh!! I thought the idea was a little bit original with the model idea.. they even had Nina Garcia as a special guest! They should have at least finished the season. Bullocks! That hot cast going to waste.

I think 'The Forgotten' is a newage coldcase.. but its good

Mercy's main character is hot, so I'll be hooked for a bit.. but it better pick up a bit otherwise I'm done.

House & Grey's Anatomy are both going to be amazinggg <3

oo.. and outta nowhere came 'Modern Family'. I thought it was hysterical haha

yeah, i watch tv when i cant sleep.. so last night was pretty random.. can you tell?

Modern Family is brilliant! <3 Love it!

SO many great shows on the telly this fall...

DEXTER (hes back baby!)
HOUSE (fuck yea!!)
LIE TO ME (oh bloody hell yess!!)
CALIFORNICATION (!!!!!!!!!!! HANK MOODY FTMFW!!! <33333)
MODERN FAMILY (al bundy + the stereotypical young spanish (well, columbian) wife; and OMG CAM! He's fucking JOKES! His gay antics absolutely KILL ME! Brilliant!

EDIT:

On yeah, and this Sunday THREE RIVERS premieres!!!!!! A new medical drama with fucking Katherine Moennig (OMG SHANE from The L Word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and Alex OLoughlin (from MOONLIGHT, a vampire show from last year or the year before)

EDIT x2:

And not that anyone on here would prolly care or be interested in, but TONITE = the STARGATE: UNIVERSE freaking series premiere!!!

Been waiting years for a new stargate show... and this ones been rumoured for a long time now... Loved to death the original SG1, but lost interest in Atlantis... will always watch an ep if come across one surfing (i still like the show and concept), but it never had me hooked and enthralled like SG1 did for 10 seasons!!

I really hope the new instalment in the Staragate world is fantastic! Cannot wait to see the pilot ce soir! <3

Love the plot twist.. its not on a earth or even another far away planet... its on a f*cking Ancient scouting ship that travel through the vast, far, far reaches of space (even by Asgaud, Goa'ould and Acient standards) to find planets to seed with stargates!

Thumbs up A new little article read today on "Three Rivers"

quote:
No need for a Three Rivers heart transplant

Fri, October 2, 2009

Katherine Moennig, who plays Dr. Miranda Foster, and Daniel Henney, who plays Dr. David Lee, star in the new medical drama Three Rivers.

There was a wide array of responses when the cast of Three Rivers was asked if they have personally signed up to be organ donors.

Three Rivers, after all, is a new medical drama that deals with the high-stakes, high-intensity, highly emotional race against time that is organ donation. It debuts Sunday, Oct. 4, on CBS.

I know I always was (an organ donor), said Katherine Moennig, who plays Dr. Miranda Foster. I was raised to believe that, by my mom. And when Daniel and I went into surgery, that reinforced it. So Im proud that I am.

Daniel, in this case, is Three Rivers castmate Daniel Henney, who plays Dr. David Lee.

When we were in Pittsburgh shooting, Kate (Moennig) and I had a chance to sit through a heart transplant, literally right in front of the patient, two feet away, the whole thing, said Henney, who was not an organ donor previously. It was a surreal moment for me. It has changed everything.

Three Rivers isnt likely to change everything, or anything, as far as the TV landscape is concerned. After all, it merely is another show about doctors and nurses and hospitals, and there is no shortage of those.

That said, at least Three Rivers has a different hook.

Three Rivers examines the multi-layered turmoil of organ donors, organ recipients and the surgeons who perform the procedures at a stellar transplant hospital, located in Pittsburgh. Also playing a key role in the drama, obviously, are the donor families, who understandably are dealing with very mixed emotions when forced to think about organ donation at their darkest hour.

Leading the elite team of medical personnel is affable workaholic Dr. Andy Yablonski, played by Alex OLoughlin (Moonlight). His co-workers include Dr. Foster (Moennig), who has a rebellious streak and a fiery temper, and Dr. Lee (Henney), a womanizing surgical resident.

In the first episode, at least, much of the drama is filtered through Moennigs character. In addition to trying to save lives, Dr. Foster is trying to live up to her fathers reputation.

I hope it (continues), actually, Moennig said. (Conceiving Dr. Foster) in the first place, she was this very strong, strong-willed, independent force, yet she was also so vulnerable and affected by everything she was dealing with every day. I think thats her dichotomy right there.

You are going to see constant situations that were put in that are, Im sure, very volatile, with all different personalities coming from all different angles.

The 31-year-old Moennig, who is a cousin of fellow actress Gwyneth Paltrow, previously was best known for playing Shane McCutcheon on The L Word. Moennig may always have been an organ donor, which made her a natural for Three Rivers, but she admitted working on the series already has changed one of her hygiene habits.

We found out that heart disease is mainly caused by bad teeth, Moennig said. That can cause terrible heart disease.

So the second we wrapped, I ran to the dentist.

Well, for about 2 weeks ahead (give or take).

Even better, SIGN IN, create an ID.

They it auto remembers your preferences (ie. provider so all channels properly apply to you specifically). ... Actually it may do this w/o creating a profile now that i think about it.

But the MAIN reason to sign up on Zap2it is so you can add shows to your FAVOURITE LIST!!!!!!!!!

Then when you view the TV listings, check off the box to highlight your Favourites... and BAM! Any show you've added to ur favourites is highlighted in purple!

I cant tell you how great and valuable this is if you have many shows that you follow and wanna see at a quick glance if any of them may be on.

The purple alerts you of any shows you wanna be aware of when they air.

I dunno what id do w/o it now... it be much more cumbersome having to slowly look over all the names of shows in the listing to see if any of mine were airing that night

(i often forget which nights my programs air on, lol)

Old "V" looked so ghey! Maybe that's why I never watched it. Even the theme music sounds like it was made by the Charlies Angels ppl.

I watch Magnum PI, Simon and Simon, Rockford files, Hulk and the A-team on RTN (Retro Television Network, on OTA antenna channel 2-3), and they're ALL cheesy. The 80s were a blast.

I highly recommend you watch old episodes of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century". As a kid, I liked the lasers and stuff. But when watched the torrent of the pilot, I laughed so hard! It had more sexual innuendos than any Bond movie. Of course all these innuendos went completely way over our heads as kids!

I did watch the original Buck Rogers series as well as the Battlestar Galatica series too! Yep... I was also there for The Hulk with Bill Bixby (he was also in The Magician).

Thats the crazy part when watching old shows... you realize how much of the show you actually "missed" bc sexual innuendos or other similar more adult (non-kid) jokes that just flew over our heads entirely unnoticed.

On a more overt level, hell, even all the environmental messages in old late 80s/early 90s shows still surprise me when looking back...

Captain Planet and The Suntots (The Smoggies?) being 2 examples. And im sure there was another show or two w/ weak or strong environmental themes incorporated in them.

the pilot pretty much summed up the premise of the whole series which means the rest will be just how the revolution goes forward...i dont expect much from this in terms of plotline. very straightforward but it will do until caprica starts off in april.

There were picket lines and protests in Hollywood when V was first cancelled... It will re-generate a new fanbase of "V"anatics.
