I'm just gonna stick to my time. There's a reason why there's scheduled times. The last thing I want to do is go for an earlier time, to only being told I cannot ride the taxi for that specific time because that time is already sold out.
what shows up after i press the buy button? any confirmation? just asking bc i left the page open for about 20m and then began to fill out my cc info...after pressing the buy button, a welcome page popped up but w/o no confirmation or anything...no email yet and when i go to log in, it says no email/password found? did it time out...not sure if i should it again but dont wanna get charged twice if it actually did

ahhh coool thx Mike...yea i only got the top part but not the thank you part so perhaps it didnt go through
also for SebG, about rescheduling it says:
This ticket gives you admission to the Armin van Buuren event, and a reserved space on the boat at the time specified on your ticket. The boats will depart from Pier 11, Wall St. This ticket is good for the departure time selected and indicated on the ticket. ID and bag checks will take place at the departure location. You must arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled departure.
so its only good for the departure time selected as stated!
have fun everyone 2marrow
as for the rain, i hope it dont rain too hard
but they did have a big tent over the eatting area, and they did give out free ponchos when it started to rain when i went, but i would still bring a jacket or something
If its crap weather, I am deffo not going. I cant deal with fluff AND rain AND jesus poses all at once. Thats just too much for one day

yeah the weather is definitely going to be the determining factor for me. Today was def no picnic to get around...was super tired and wishing i was home (but i had to go to school, ugh
)
The only thing I'm wondering about is the ride back to the Pier. Will it be a long wait in line to get a taxi back? Will there be more taxis available so everyone can get back at once?
bad weather or not, who cares, dress warm.
I;ll need to get there extra early to park my car somewhere :/
this is at the south street seaport right?
Why's everyone paying for Water Taxi? There's a free ferry that leaves every 30 minutes, I'm taking that.

Entry is FREE but you must purchase a $10 round trip Water Taxi ticket to get to the island. *Admission to the event requires the purchase of this ticket on the Water Taxi and travel to Governors Island on these reserved boats. Water Taxis will be leaving from Pier 11 in Manhattan every 15 minutes starting at 11am. GET YOUR TICKETS HERE! |
Ohhh interesting... Well, the Governor's Island website specifically mentions this "New Island Festival" and travelling to and from it, including today's specific schedule and what not. The subway lets me off right where the free ferry leaves from so I might as well just ask. Otherwise, 10$ ain't bad, hope to see you guys there, if I can get this shitload of work done by then...
If anyone is still here- he forgot about his Man U game, ugh! Do uou think it will be worth it to take the ferry at 3?
