I'm basically the same way. I kinda like having the TV on when I'm in bed, but I never get to more than a light occasional doze. Same with listening to music. Love having headphones on and my eyes closed, my entire attention devoted to the music... but I will barely doze off and keep waking up. It keeps my brain too active to really sleep. So, I only do this on a rare occasion, and never on a work-night.

I kind of like taking a nap with weird ambient or downtempo stuff on. I once fell asleep with The Orb's Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld playing in my headphones and was woken up by the thunder crash on the second disc.

I don't leave music on when I sleep at night, though.

I suppose I'm just against it because we've been together so long. Shit definitely got too comfortable/boring in the bedroom. I.e., it no longer felt like a "sexy" room, cause we spent so much time in there watching t.v. and munching out and shit. Had to stop.

Agreed... against-the-wall-sex isn't too bad, either. At least for getting started (mainly due to the kinkiness factor, not practicality).

Usually if we start somewhere else, though, we ultimately end up in the bedroom. Then again, by then we can't be bothered with porn, so I guess that's moot.

Yeah we don't watch much porn either. Used to a lot when we were younger. I used to order movies all the time on my mom's bill...then deny it when the bill came/play stupid. So she'd call up the cable company and bitch at them for their mistake and always have the charges removed, lol.

Yeah, I was more into the fact that my girlfriend enjoyed porn, so it was more of a cool "fun factor" thing... but I can't remember the last time we watched porn and did it at the same time.

the only time i watch tv in bed is when we're about to go to sleep. we have a great huge flat screen in the livingroom so 98% of our TV watching is done in the livingroom. the tv before bed is just our way of winding down i guess instead of just going straight in the bedroom and turning the lights out and going to sleep.
