iam a big dt fan, but there isent many dt sets out there, cause he dont WANT THEM TO BE RECORDED!!!! lol
if you can get your hands on his global underground cd's those are like 10 years old, but amazing cds
next time hes in town i suggest you expand your horizons beyond trance, or base him upon one song he did 10 years ago is very closed minded and you should give him a chance
the begining of his set will be good, but if you want to experience a real dt set its all about afterhours
heres a taste of what to expect from dt afterhours

were any of you there taking vids of when he came out and danced in the crowd at the end?

<--- does not want to be in the background of said video

Also, can anyone confirm the mix of touch me was unreleased? I can't find anything anywhere - it was MEGA stripped down - SOOOO GOOD!

Mark Knight was meh.

Danny was better at CiRCA but he had his moments.

Had more fun in the Orange Room listening to the locals.

to be honest I felt the same, Mark played some nice big tunes.....but overall wasn't what I came to expect....left after his set

I caught the 1st half-hour of Major Lazer's set in the KH and I rather enjoyed it. Lots of energy and everyone there was eating it up. It was fun but I couldn't see myself lasting there any longer. Didn't venture into KH after that.

Never have been a big fan of Mark Knight. Like others have already said; his set flowed more like a trance set with too many buildups, but overall, not a bad opening set.

Danny was awesome as usual. Loved his antics with the search lights and comments on the mic. I enjoyed this set a lot more than at Circa. I guess it had a lot to do with vibe. Even though this event didn't pull in the number they were expecting, the people who did show up knew what they were there for. That makes a huge difference.

I checked out the orange room for deko-ze's set and couldn't bring myself to leave for a good hour or so. Hats off to the guy who can seriously 'bring it' week after week after week.

Great seeing a bunch of TAs out. Some whom I haven't seen in years! Was nice meeting you, Geoffb3.

I dont believe you

Neither do I, and I was there.

I guess you could say the sound was better than usual, and there was "room" to dance if you don't mind dancing for 5 seconds at a time, which is how long it normally took to get shoved aside by an asshole train.

I had a good time despite the vibe in the Guv and the unforgivable set times, thanks to Danny's programming and good friends. That's about all I can say.

sooo .. i had a randomly fun night
decided about an hour before i went that i was going with Sasha

Showed up .. got drunk as fuckkkk, had an amazzzing time with Sashimi and then left haha
Great seeing a ton of familiar faces though.

I didn't pay much attention to the music after they shut down gallery ... I wasn't really there for it anyway. IMO They should have kept the gallery open.

I guess I left at 3? Not too sure.. blaming Sasha and the tequila for that one. i don't think i've been that drunk ever. bahahaha

Why do you even bother getting up in the morning?

I'm with you on this one... I don't know maybe I just pick terrible spots to dance in but until a little later on I was getting knocked around like crazy. I think I was just also a little less tolerant of it than I usually am.

That being said, I still had fun always do.

Well, one reason would be this thing called a "job". Heard of it? I thought not.

Maybe you meant to ask, "why do you bother going to the Guvernment?" And my answer to that would be, "because I apparently forgot why I stopped going."

Look, I went to the party, I danced (not "hands in the air", sorry Shaya, not my style), I had a fairly good time, and I gave an honest review pointing out concisely what was good and what wasn't. Deal with it. Don't try to throw around 3rd-grade insults because I didn't post glowing praise consisting mainly of "OMG BEST PARTY EVER!!!@!11one".

What's up with the 3rd grade insults?

Seems you hate everything, since you seem to be on here complaining for most of the day.

Every club I've been to I get knocked around a bit, don't think it's a problem exclusive to Guvernment.

No, see, most of the day I'm at my job. I can see that this concept doesn't seem to compute with you.

Hah. There's a difference between "a bit" and "every 8 seconds." And trust me, I was NOT the only one complaining about it on Sunday.

I have never been shoved around like that at Footwork or even Circa, certainly not without so much as an "excuse me."

i didn't find the pushing too much at all.

there was an hour where it was pretty packed but after that was smooth sailing and at the end was the best possible amount of people. especially when danny came out and danced on the dance floor.
