You can say it all you want, but nutritional science doesn't agree with you.

I will say it again, CAUSALITY != CAUSATION. What that means is that, just because there is the APPEARANCE of a link, that does not mean there actually IS a link.

It may be *bad* without making gain you weight. High fructose consumption increases triglycerides, for example. But that does not mean it's special with regard to weight gain.
Anyone who is still holding on to the notion that your body treats a fast food or high fat meal in some fundamentally different way that makes you gain more weight even if you eat the same amount of calories, please read through this summary of a study that puts that idea to rest:

That is no excuse. I am, technically speaking, a high school drop out. So, what is your point?

Well usually when you go to college and university you continue to write papers which keeps your brain busy. I like to read books but writing seems to be the best way to learn and remember things. How many high school drop outs do you know that can read and write like you?

A few. The point was that you can't use that as a crutch and then claim, "hey I didn't know. I didn't go to university" as an excuse for making these wild claims and then trying to support it the way you have.

I was talking about knowing the meaning of words!
"Had to google it along with Causality and Causation. High school graduate here and thats it "
The claims about GMO's are all from different sources either read or seen on documentaries.

Most of that shit you were/are claiming is bullshit still. As has been proven.
You want to know why corn products are cheap? The US Farm Bill. Subsidies make it cheap for a company to make, and therefore, can then sell it for cheap. How does GM crops factor into that? Or the fact that volume can make up for small margins?

You guys should both go to uni. Especially if you have career goals that a uni degree would expedite. Ur both smart enough to hack it and I think it would enrich your lives enormously.. Don't know whether your government would pay for you to go but I couldn't recommend it more strongly. And ben I don't know if u have your high school certificate but if nit u should def get it.. Just from ur posts here I can tell you'd probably cane it with almost no study.

I am going to be starting once I get going at this new job. Money is just way too tight, and I want to avoid loans as much as possible.
As for the cert, I got it. Took that years ago. I knew that it would severely limit me if I didn't, so got that out of the way early. Really, I only dropped out because my situation at home totally changed and I had to work. I was in independent study (I fucked around the first 2.5 years in high school) for 1.5 years. I made up most of what I needed, but I still had 1 years worth of courses to make up. I could get it done in 6 months, but I just didn't have the time with work and shit. Figured it wouldn't matter later down the road whether I had a diploma or the ged anyways.

Well, GM is adding or removing certain genes. Is selective breeding not essentially the same thing, just that it takes more trial and error and is therefore less efficient?
If I grow a piece of corn and it's exactly how I want all further corn to be, it's much more efficient for me to identify the gene that causes the beneficial trait and add it into all new crops, rather than cross pollinating the corn until I get a whole heap of corn with the same trait.
Where is the harm in this?
