Fuck I just sprained my ankle pretty bad a couple days ago but I already have my ticket to Beyond Wonderland. I really want to go especially because they have some good dubstep dj's. The only problem is I dont think ill be able to walk very well. Would it be too hard to push a wheelchair through the crowd? Should I just sell my ticket? What should I do?

Ah shit mate, that really sucks, sorry to hear. I guess it depends on how the lines are run, can you walk on crutches?

Posted by TheQuiz on Mar-16-2010 19:22:

I can walk on crutches but they fucking hurt my damn armpits more then my ankle. And I figure I dont want to stand all night or take a chance of getting knocked over or someone hitting my ankle really hard. My ankle keeps getting better and better every day so im preying and keeping my fingers crossed that somehow I will be able to hobble around. I guess if worst comes to worst I can get pushed around in a wheelchair my friends already offered to push me around all night.

Has anyone ever had to go to a party with crutches or a wheelchair that could give me some advice?

I've seen a few cases, people on wheelchairs are allowed side entrance.

Was planning to go to this, but can't afford since visiting from SF and going to see Roger Shah and, instead of this event, going to see John Digweed

Has Insomniac heard any news about PvD's arrival? His show tonight in Portland was just canceled due to "travel complications". Curious to know if he'll make it to the US in time?

From Red Cube:
Tonight's PvD at the ROSELAND THEATER has been POSTPONED. Due to unfortunate travel circumstances PvD was unable to make his flight to the US. A make up date will be announced. Refunds will be available to you from your ticket outlet. We apologize for the convinience. We are are dissapointed, and will give you the make up date as soon as possible.

Interesting, although he'll probably end up making it, it would be nice if they let a real artist like Sander Van Doorn play longer.

A real artist? I'm a huge fan of SvD, and also Paul (obviously)-- but I can't think of any circumstances that anyone would consider Paul not to be a real artist... His contributions to this genre of music have been significant... Not meaning to turn this into a religious debate, but I consider Sander and Paul to both be real, and great artists... Who do also collaborate together as well.

Eh, didn't mean to put it that way. Compared to a lot of the other djs, even those ranked lower than him (Ferry, Gareth, Markus, SVD, Cosmic Gate to name a few) he is nothing special TO ME.

Yeah, this is weak. Dahlback has done enough to deserve a later slot, but I guess he's still commercially unknown.
