Gays deserve their rights. They know I have their back.

The sheer, blatant, and often vehemently defended intolerance in America shocks me on a daily basis.. I'd like someone to tell me exactly what about homosexual relationships and homosexual people is so deadly and horrible to our society. Because, quite frankly, all the problems I see are coming from the people who claim that gays cause such apocalyptic issues... Really, if everyone stopped bitching for a moment and actually just let gays have the same rights as the rest of the world, maybe we'd notice a slight improvement in the way things are.

I find it amazing that free speech apparently extends to corporate entities and their bribery of elected officials, but not to two hot women who want to say I do before getting down in a serious tribbing extravaganza.

yeah. three homosexual fathers for every child. better make it four. good parents regardless of them destroying the vital institution of family ffs could you be a little more forward-looking than just "oh poor gays give them their right to hump". fuck, with such rate of "tolerance" and "liberty" your son would soon be fucked up the ass by your gay neighbor screaming "discrimination" when you try to stop him

Who the fuck said anything about 3 or 4 parents?

Ok, considering the institution of marriage, we have to consider that it fails regularly. So, do you think that a single gay male or female parent would be worse than a single straight male or female parent?

1. marriage fails regularly? you're too pessimistic about the future. how do you back it? just because 51% of couples get divorced doesn't mean that the remaining 49% of marriages don't do any good for the future generations. btw, are you claiming that marriage (i.e. family) is an pointless social element and should be abolished? if no, then statistics shouldn't mean a thing to you.
2. since q1. is not yet ultimately proved, comparing a single gay parent to a single heterosexual parent is irrelevant imo

too bad i can't continue this conversation as i got to go to work

To address your points:

1. I'm more pessimistic now. I didn't realise the statistics were as high as 51%. Surely you would call that 'regularly'?

I never said anything about abolishing marriage, or a traditional family unit. I do think, though, that it might be a little naive of you to think that the other 49% of people are doing a great job of parenting. If you're married with children, does that AUTOMATICALLY make you a good parent? I think not.

2. I didn't ask for proof about gay single parents raising children, I asked for your opinion on the matter.

Are you generally homophobic? If you found out that one of your best friends was gay, would you instantly change your opinion of them? I'm not asking in order to put you down, I'm just curious.

I'm not sure if I've discussed this with Boris before. Is this a recurring thing?

Posted by SuspicionVandit on Jan-27-2010 08:18:

They should be allowed to marry. I'm not too sure about allowing them abortions though.

Posted by FuzzQi on Jan-27-2010 08:32:

If gays want to devote themselves to each other (or whatever) and call it marriage, or anything else, then I don't think we even have the right to discuss the legitimacy of it. What happens between them is their business. So long as it doesn't breach basic human rights etc.

Btw if I were gay I probably wouldn't want to get married to another dude anyway. Too controversial.

Also, lol @ how there is always someone who says this. It's like the person who thinks if you peel a beer bottle label off then you are obviously sexually frustrated. in the ass

Posted by Intellekshual on Jan-27-2010 08:53:

Boris, No-one is invalidating anything. The male-female component will always exist. But a male-male and female-female component will also exist.

At the risk of putting words in your mouth.. You are suggesting that homosexuality is a trait (or that homosexuals possess a trait, whichever) that is detrimental to society and that homosexual marriages are detrimental to the institution of marriage/family.
Prove it.

i cant believe boris thinks fags are creepier than his fascination with young girls.

If you were gay, I doubt that would be an issue

So, did you ever find out what was under his bed?

Posted by Renzo on Jan-27-2010 09:08:

It's not gay if you don't swallow. I've been waiting to use that line all day somewhere.

It's also very confusing for me because I have 4 gay friends with whom I am very close and I want nothing but happiness for them.

Ergo...

Well it's good to know all criticisms of me have been invalidated.

Sure. Somewhere.

No really, how many times have you used that line today? Tell me.

Posted by Renzo on Jan-27-2010 09:11:

Three times. Twice to my grandmother, and the other now.

Exactly.

If you have a stick that far up your ass to get in the way of people you don't even know's marriages, then you obviously need better things to do in your spare time.

I don't get what is so bad about gay and lesbian relationships? Homosexuals can build families too. And to what benefit is it to pressure people into making a choice to get along because that is the "norm" if the norm isn't what they want? Why shouldn't everyone have a choice of what kind of relationship they want to have with whom?

Pffft. That's what they all say.

"Twice with my grandmother".

That's what they say, Renzo. Every single one of them.

Talk to one former eastern block peon and you've spoken to them all, they're basically the hillbilly's of Europe that spend most of their time drunk, unconscious or beating their wife/1st cousin. I mean Ben was about the only one who wasn't a complete inbred arsehole and capable of stringing a paragraph together, not dealing out gross generalisations or anything as is often the trend, just saying y'know

Is it gay if you play Just the Tip? Just the tip. Just the tip, to see how it feels.
