I don't post much but for this one just had to! Incredible night. I'll share my last PVD experience. The terrace at space Nov 09. I got drunk like a retard, collapsed and was kicked out! So no fun at all plus musically wasn't that good. So I knew not to overdrink this time. Got there around 1:15 cause of a bitch of a storm, found parking around the corner on 13th and had no problem getting in. No line nothing straight in. I actually stayed in the room adjacent to the main room with couches really comfy, sound was excellent and you could feel the vibe instead of being distracted. The man was on point the whole night. Truly banging it out. I've become accustomed to hearing we are one, home, time of our lives, so it was ok, just went to the bathroom during those moments. I will say this, Mansion was wayyy better than what everyone made it out to be. I guess since it was raining it was empty? Honestly not even the smoke bothered me. Truly had a great time and can't wait for another event here. As for space i am more than done with that place. Not to knock on the eden guys but SVD would be truly better here. Hopefully they get a lcd screen like this one. the lighting, and vibe was perfect! And yes watch the receipt! I got a long island and a stella for $25.00 and still tipped $2.00! so $ 6.00 tip...be careful...
Hopefully Markus will be the next trance DJ @ Mansion. He'd destroy that room ...

my 13 min video is now uploading... 2.3gbs... 659 minutes remaining on the upload. lol.
but anyway... after that theres only 2 smaller videos and then all vids will be up.

Does everybody agree that Mansion wasn't as bad as we thought it would be? I like Space's chill vibe a lot better, but with the great music I can honestly say I Mansion was a lot better than I remember it being. I really hope they start booking more trance.......

i thought the system sounded crisper yes but the bass just doesnt kick at all imo. its so weak i might as well be holding ipod headphones up which are blasting. id be feeling the same amount of bass basically. the only way they can fix that shit is they uproot the foundation of the building, lift it up about 5ft and just line the entire floor with subwoofers. but yea okay.
standing in the back it was a nice visual of the whole club and it did feel nice because it is a big room but the vip in the middle still kinda bugs. theres enough room up front but upfront i was too close. in the back i was too far away. on the sides i was on the side. and for what? a half empty vip? that did take away from the vibe imo because well it made the place feel too empty.
still happy with the mansion experience as compared to previous years but theres still plenty of room for improvement.
and heres the 13 min goodness. for anyone who wasnt there at about 4:30 pvd stopped the music. had a pause then kicked it back up. that is this. i stopped it after i heard tool. after tool there was another pause, then the encore which is video 12. and video 13 is just last few beats he played of seventh nation army before being done.
so enjoy.
LOL the start of that 13 min vid was when I thought he was just gonna play some vocally encores to end the night, but he just started banging it out again lol

This show was so great, I'm going to see him again at Mansion this next Saturday. I have been trying to find the set list to this, anyone have it or know if there is any recording of this show. It was such a great high energy set.
