rookie camp started today.

pre season tickets and 14 tickets bought for this year...expensive and hard to get, but erection is officially in full force.

stopped reading at 2. boston bruins hahahaahaha

if the bruins stay healthy they will be pretty good...they definitely should win the northeast.

Looks like vancouver finally took the C from Luongo and Im sure H. Sedin will get it. That was just a sympathy captain to get him to sign Im sure.

i think he stays if his brother does.

I was talking about the C on Luongo was just to help him sign. Either Sedin should have it. I doubt they would split the bros up yet.

i doubt the C was the difference maker considering the contract he signed.

last year, when they would lose, luongo would be very vocal to the media and throw his teammates under the bus.

considering his pitiful playoff performance last year, it was probably the right move.

after signing staal, the rangers are over the cap...redden to the minors? no one will take that contract i think.

Posted by trancypantzzz on Sep-15-2010 21:58:

would rather they get rid of drury seeing as it is the offense holding the rangers down. not that redden is playing great, but it's hard to live up to your contract when your offense/powerplay is one guy. defensively, redden is better than girardi, mdz, and gilroy at least.

Posted by IL Duce on Sep-15-2010 22:14:

i was really surprised that they signed staal to such a good deal for them, i thought he might get a bit more.

redden's salary is just an albatros, so i'm pretty sure he would clear waivers easily. i think del zotto is going to have a big year this year as well.

also: put up or shut up time for frolov.

Got 4 tix to the Sharks/Ducks tonight! Only $5 a pop. Gotta love that Anaheim doesnt support their team so hockey is dirt cheap.

Posted by IL Duce on Sep-22-2010 16:54:

I get to watch a game on television tonight. Ace.

For 5$ at the Bell Center Box Office they might let you have a pen.

Looks like Nittymaki and Stalock are in net for the sharks tonight. I was hoping to see Niemi a little bit. Im hearing great things about Stalock and Petrecki. Thats what I like about preseason. Seeing those last few guys earn a spot.

Posted by verndogs on Sep-23-2010 15:42:

I was at the Hurricanes/Panthers preseason game on Tuesday night. Only stayed for half the game, but I got to see the Panthers pepper cam ward for 3 goals within 6 minutes of the 1st period.

Tiniest NHL Arena I've ever been to

First pre season game over with, and the fans are all over Price already lol.

Posted by L.E.N. on Sep-23-2010 22:03:

So nitty stunk up the net. What a slow bastard last night. Let 4 by him, albiet they were duck starters. He wasnt cat like at all. Especially a slow trickle past the skate...I was half way out of my seat yelling before it crossed the line. Stalock went in and looked really good. Nitty might end up trade bait. To be fair everyone seemed to be playing 65%.

Posted by IL Duce on Sep-24-2010 16:30:

dude its preseason

the only people that bring their a game are the kids that don't want to ride the bus in the ahl anymore.

Posted by L.E.N. on Sep-24-2010 16:44:

I know thats why I was really watching Stalock and Petrecki. Nitty isnt offically starting yet either so its not like hes a lock. Im just curious how the replacement of Nabby will work out. It was odd seeing Nitty's style in net...not used to it yet. I was hoping to go home feeling like the goaltender move was a good one.

you've got a pretty stacked team man...a great mix of youth and veterans...i would say that for the first 82 games you guys will be a ok.

He twists the knife...

Posted by IL Duce on Sep-24-2010 20:01:

anyone bold enough to predict guaranteed post season success to the sharks has obviously never watched them in the playoffs

Posted by L.E.N. on Sep-24-2010 22:39:

Jay knows that I dont talk like that. You arent saying anything I hasvent heard before. 12 years of making it to playoffs and failing. Regular season I just hope for minimal injuries. Playoffs I grab my box of kleenex and cross my fingers. Its tradition.

Posted by IL Duce on Sep-25-2010 01:31:

put it this way, if the sharks don't make the playoffs i will eat one of the poops in the pics i post.

Posted by IL Duce on Sep-26-2010 18:56:

ok, carey price is going to get raped lol...it is going to be a long year if he doesn't get his head out of his ass.

Posted by IL Duce on Sep-28-2010 00:27:

redden is going to make 6 million a year in thew minors....oh you silly sather you, how you still have a job after all of the bad moves you make amazes me.
