Has he explained or come forth with his proof???No not that I have heard! And why are you so DOWN on labels, what did they do wrong??Give some guy a chance to profit from his music...why is that bad? It is bad because it looks like the guy pulled a fast one but due to the original artist saying hey that is mine..they did what they had to do and correct the mistake....I would say the label showed alot of class!!!What is your problem...jealous or what!!

Fucking anjuna they've been charging people for the same track years.

This is like saying every trance track that uses an arpeggio pattern sounds the same.

You could create a similar video using any type of music and any type of pattern, so I don't see what the fuss is about.

I already mentioned this earlier.

If you wrote out the melodies of all the songs in that video, they're 100% different. It's just that it's a two-note pattern that's being repeated. The stuff focused on in the video is not a melody. Case closed...and that's a fact...write it out on a sheet of paper for the proof.

But in classic TA fashion, the trolls feel threatened about their stupidity, so they pull out webster dictionary references and other garbage to shield themselves

Ok, but why are so many producers using the very same PATTERNS? That's the question. Those tracks just don't have enough identity in my opinion.. I'm not trolling, I do like some new trance tracks, but my taste which is fed up with same shit all the time is preventing me from enjoying most releases.

They use the same patterns because they're catchy on the ear and sound good.

Temple One is a producer that has built his entire career from this pattern. Every one of his songs has that high-low thing going on with it. You know it's a track by him when you hear that nowadays.

Sounding the same and being the same are two different things.

Even the title of the video does not claim the melodies to be the same, but similar.

in Western music theory, there is something called "shape". it refers to how a piece of music develops over time. these tracks all have the same shape. sometimes even matching each other second for second.

on a sheet of music these would look even more similar than just listening. why? because all the little melodies surrounding the main melodic theme would look like they are supporting it -- like they are built around it. this is called "variations on a theme" a term which i'm sure you have heard before. all these tracks are "variations on a theme".

and this isnt saying the same thing as "trance has the same kick-hihat-clap-hihat percussion for ever song". the same fooking central theme around which the songs are built is used in these 50 fooking tracks.

When all the tracks have the same melody or very very similar is booring. God bless this is mostly anjuna cancer and there's still some good trance being released.

To me tech-trance is ten times more boring than uplifting trance...I can't stand the croaking sounds they stuff into those tracks.
