what series are you watching?
the yanks dont deserve to win nothing at this point
starting pitching has been sub par, the bullpen is a joke
the hitting....there is none!!!!

its a disgrace, last year i was so happy when they won cause they finally deserved it and played like winners
they go out there and are an embaressment, they beat the shit outta texas all season long now they choke and dont produce
horrible

and yea i agree with you burak fuk outta here with swisher and aj
aj throws pitches in the dirt and swisher swings at pitchs in the dirt such a joke, they can throw pies at each other during the off season all they want cause the way they are playing thats where they are headed

do this one for tex???? guy didnt do shit all playoffs for the past 2 years "oh my finger hurts...oh my hamstring hurts" mother ****** my eyes hurt from watching you play

i hope they lose and realize what an embaressment they are, come back next year with a clear head and learn how to win and work as a team

Regular season we split with Texas 4-4

As a yankee faithful, i still believe in my team. that's part of what being a yankee fan is. we aren't fair weather fans, granted we will turn on a player if they aren't producing so expectations are high but that's what being a die hard is about. you live for the moments of joy and you suffer through the moments of despair

AJ and swish were big for us last year and we all loved it. We embraced swish so much that a shirt was created for swish saluting the crowd during roll call. fact of the matter is, Texas is hot everyone saw what they did to TB, they are definitely burning NY right now, you got to give credit where it's due, texas is bringing the game. I don't hate our players for it, I'm a bit distraught that we look like we don't deserve to win, but the pinstripe in me has to believe that we can bounce back.

If we don't then we don't and still watch baseball as it is intended. I know everyone did not expect SF vs Texas, but those 2 teams are on fire right now, there isn't anything you can say otherwise outside of going out there and putting a huge stop on those teams.

More so, Texas plays in the AL West with who else Oakland, Angels, and Seattle. I wouldn't say impressive division but definitely capable of winning games. AL East has major contenders where it's always a neck race, Boston and TB namely make it a tough division to win or be a wild card when you have 3 teams in a race like that.

lol cmon u cant win them all. they arent an embarrasment; its just that tx is on fire, and i mean within every aspect of their game. i havent really liked how the yanks been looking this post-season either but shit...we made it this far playing great all year round to get out-beaten by the better team in the 2nd to last WS games...

yea, as a yankee fan i could play denial but truth of the matter is..like nyce said, gotta give credit where credit is due and tx deserves this series- sad to say. theyve walked all over us the same way they did with TB, who in FACT were a much better team then the yanks were during the season...

however, hold your horses bc it just aint over yet. i wanna bring up '04 with boston but fuck them and what they did.

bc we like to come from behind and anal rape em afterwards, no homo.

This win would have been so much better if the Yankees didn't suck ass in games 2, 3, and 4.

Still going to be very difficult to win, especially since the shitty Phil Hughes is the Yankees Game 6 pitcher.

I like Pettite over Lee in Game 7 though...Lee is overdue for a crappy game.

you said it the best

in tonights game the yankee's played like the yankee's
good pitching, good defense and came threw with some big hits
now the fate of the yankee's is in the hands of phil hughs, as well as the yankee's to make some big hits and score some runs
if they gonna play that shit ball like they been playing in the first 4 games then forget about it

The Giants take the award for the loudest crowd this postseason.

I love the atmosphere the fans are making there...their crowds have been hot in the NLDS and the one tonight in Game 4 is really fucking loud.

Posted by osterzone on Oct-21-2010 03:46:

Giants are one game away from the World Series. I really hope they make it- their fans are fucking awesome. After Uribe hit that sac fly for the game winner there were people running through the concourses jumping up and down, fans dancing on top of the dugouts, etc.

San Francisco fans have that hunger that you rarely see in sports crowds these days. Everyone at these Giants games are also decked out in team gear and are paying attention to every pitch, unlike Yankee stadium where half the lower bowl this ALCS has been suits and people talking on their cell phones. Or middle-aged preps trying to keep their disinterested girlfriends warm.

Unless you're a Phillies or Braves fan, I don't know how you could not like this Giants team and their fanbase.

^^yeah you're absolutely right.
good friend of mine is from the bay area and goes to a lot of games and i've been to a few with him. that's one thing i noticed - ppl go nuts for it out there. same with at the warrior games. no matter how terrible their team is...the stadium packs in.

They are truly something else. I have been all over this nation and have yet found a city with more sports pride.

I went up there to see one of the SD vs SF games and for Love Evolution (well what was left lol).

Literally 1 out of 4 people I saw was wearing something SF. A hat a jacket a sweater hideous pants and they always had a comment to me because I had of course an SD hat on. Fresh off the plane in SFO and some guy said "Yo you're in San Francisco now, the hat has got to go."

I was just blown away by how the city supports their team, so this comment doesn't surprise me one bit...

Back to the hitting slump...

Posted by osterzone on Oct-23-2010 01:57:

3-1 Texas now...we'll be lucky to tie it by the 9th

Posted by osterzone on Oct-23-2010 02:02:

Season over...no way are the Yankees scoring 4 runs.

Posted by Burak14 on Oct-23-2010 02:19:

thats it joe, leave robertson in. clearly the intellegent move. guy has literally 20 era this series and he still brings him in. wow.

Posted by osterzone on Oct-23-2010 02:28:

This could be the fourth game this series where the Yankees are held to less than 3 runs. And by no-name pitchers too...disgusting effort here.

Posted by osterzone on Oct-23-2010 03:14:

Lol @ Mike Long saying that the fans have waited so long for this...what fans? They've been bandwagoning these past few months.
