"American" isn't a race, Einstein.

A-Rab, Camel Jockey, Raghead, etc. Those would be racist comments towards someone of UAE descent, just as an example.

And I'm not even gonna get started in how much of an opposite opinion I have on the other characteristics you've listed as being better...

lol???

Hipster music - electro-progressive, nu-disco/indie, dubstep, RA sound

And i dont know what u mean by hipster but I am talking about homosexually looking skinny white guys in tight pants and chinese keds or black leather boots, with funky hairstyles etc. I really do not see that crowd at techno/tech-house events.

He was saying it as a derogatory term...

There are a handful of ravers who partied from the beginning to the present time, which they mildly or rarely go out now. They can tell you all the different phases the scene had been through. The only person I know is Nat, but too bad she doesn't post on TOTA or TA anymore.

And she still stays partyin like a rockstar! I love looking at her old raver photos, looks like crazy times!

Both Richie Hawtin and Villalobos are djs appealing to RA crowd. I agree that that crowd is somewhat hipster but it is more in the jersey shore spectrum ) However, this in any case this is not what i was referring to ))) (in fact I hate RA sound and was referring to techno/tech excluding RA, which I thought was clear from my post), so you make a senseless argument once again, good job!

Posted by VDub on Mar-09-2011 03:14:

Well I'm not going to bother looking for any more examples but they are out there...

Look for that recently posted Glasgow thread...

It would figure that you would argue on the point since you're a lover of that genre...
