We were all waiting for you to tell us in your charming way.

And because you never will post anything like these I'll do so:

I hope srussell0018 isn't talking about me below as I'm serious with the tracks above. Everyone should decide for his own which tracks he likes and thinks are good.

You need to make up your mind whether you're going to "educate the noobs" or mock them. While I do like the majority of your posts, as well as the majority of tracks you post in various threads, you have to admit you're not the model of educating instead of mocking musical tastes. Forgive me if I'm not impressed by your totally righteous attempt to educate this kid in the ways of trance, when I've seen you being the "useless cunt" laughing at other noobs' posts here many a time. Criticizing others for criticizing others. That's gotta be a whole new level of elite.

Edit: Not talking about you Trance-MB

Bonzai records never disappoints me. The 90's trance = timeless

We get a cool TA t shirt when we get access to the secret forums.

My god I am going to go offtopic to say that the Tastexperience song that System-J posted was a really great track.

Apart from the guy advocating a supersaw rendition of Greensleeves, when was the last time I simply mocked anyone's tastes with no attempt at educating or informing them? Perhaps a couple of years ago I acted like that regularly, but it's better to admit you were wrong than keep repeating the same mistake all your life. I'm not perfect when it comes to educating people, but I get a lot of PMs from people asking me for help or information. Including several from you, I might add. That probably means I'm doing something half-right.

You might like the Paul Oakenfold mix from Rojam, then. He opens the set with it, alongside one of Pete Tong's finest interjections.

It's probably mostly due to your seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of EDM more than anything else.

dance to this or chill to this, your choice, suitable for both things

How about you answer my question?

My other 2 favorites from the 90's:

Tracks like these never die!

Which one? I'm at work right now and don't really have time to go searching through all of your recent posts, if you're looking for an answer to when the last time was that you mocked someone's musical taste. Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe I'm just remembering a trend from awhile back, in which case I apologize.

He asked you when the last time he mocked someone was.

LOL TRANCE!

Thanks to those people who showed me some really good tracks, some of them are quite good. I know im new to trance and all but ive been reading comment after comment on Youtube saying stuff like "old school trance is the best" and "todays trance is shit".

But im going to take that dudes advice and Fuck off to another forum that is totally into trance. This forum seems like some of you guys have moved on in musical tastes but stay on here because you guys have probably built good relationships over the years and I get that. I wasn't around when Trance was in its golden age, so to speak. But i have to say some people and i can only see a few on here are just down right intollerant and pick over every detail like me not adding a question mark after a question I asked...

Anyway for the people who were nice, I want to Thankyou, I probably have 20 new songs to add to my collection and Enjoy.

Later.

Well, for me: there is an expression from Del Piero:

"A true gentleman never leaves his lady"

Trance might be dead but if you grew up with trance and has a good connection with this beautiful music, you will never leave it!

Ask those guys who were borned in the 50's - 60's
and grew up with rock n roll.
Even though they get old,
they never let it go
nevertheless what they've been told
Don't listen to the hoes

Trance on!

Leave if you want, but I think you'll find that, here, if you're genuinely interested in learning about electronic dance music, this is probably one of your better places. While it's true that this forum has evolved, since its inception, and that tastes have matured (or regressed depending on your point of view) the fact that it's not strictly devoted to trance is one of its strengths. It's also not anti-trance as much as it is pro-every genre of dance (and other forms of) music.

Another thing I'd leave you with is that a lot of the "Old School" trance is better angle can be attributed to sentimentality. While certain producer/DJ personalities have marketed a homogenized form of trance or moved onto more popular genres, the fact is that there's still good trance being made and I suspect there will be a bit of a resurgence for it, in the future. I'm only mentioning this because I think it would be a shame for someone to lock in only on trance made during a certain time. Not every contemporary production, today, is going to be McTrance. Don't limit yourself.

You should put this in your signature Eddie, well said.
