- Knicks proved they can play great defense
- Chauncey will be back
- Knicks got a huge chip on their shoulder, did you watch TBS? everyone on there besides Marv Alberts hates the knicks, all they did was talk shit about them during the half time when up by 12
- Knicks are much more confident today then they were yesterday, they walked into TD Garden and played neck n' neck with Boston
- Even with Melo and Chauncy being basically shut out, Celtics needed last second heroics to win the game, Melo is a sleeping giant, he will wake up

Knicks in 6

Great defense huh. Knicks in 6?

I agree, I and most of the new yorkers were wayyyy off base. FIRE Mike D'antoni

The B team players finally realized who they are. A valiant effort the first 2 games. Melo can't do it alone. I like D'antoni but he may be the worst coach in crunch time in the NBA. NY looked so confused, so unorganized the last couple minutes of games 1 & 2.

They better win at least one game

Lucky shot by Crawford. Great game, though.

And violent.

Livin and dyin by the 3 pointer. It's the Orlando way.

FFS, you guys watchin what Roy's doing? amazing

Posted by Renzo on Apr-23-2011 23:41:

Yep. Good to see him playing well after that disastrous game 2.

Posted by bananas on Apr-23-2011 23:43:

i was actually thinking that with all those knee problems he was DONE, well maybe he is, but not in this game tho

Posted by The17sss on Apr-24-2011 19:37:

Nice. No sweep for Miami.

Posted by LAdazeNYnights on Apr-24-2011 19:39:

that was an awesome finish

Posted by ziptnf on Apr-24-2011 19:47:

With the big comeback the Heat had earlier in the game, I would have expected them to keep a fair amount of distance between the sixers but they really got hot toward the end.

Posted by The17sss on Apr-24-2011 20:00:

They'll probably dominate game 5... but I just need them with a little less energy when they face Boston.

New York, meet reality.

edit

Did anyone catch the Denver/OKC game last night? I missed the 2nd half but apparently Denver got screwed out of another call (or non-call) on the last second shot by JR. Anyone catch that?

I watched it. I thought the same thing too, and JR sold it really well... then they showed the replay in regular speed and slow motion. The defender was strait up on him the whole time. No foul, great defense, although risky.

Posted by Renzo on Apr-24-2011 21:19:

It wasn't a foul.

Looks like the Hawks will win the series.

And then lose in 5 to Chicago.

can't believe how little arenas has played, then comes in and has to save the magic nearly every play to even keep them in the game. most pathetic performance i've seen from this team all season
