It's obviously NOT a myth, there is science supporting it. Geez, i guess there is no middle ground here fuck, lol.

People associate global warming as a man made event. If we break it down and look at it in the true sense. Yes, our planet is warming up. But is that warming being prompted by man or is it naturally occuring? There is evidence supporting the man made hypothesis however, there is substantial evidence supporting that the planet is warming due to natural causes. I support that its happening naturally, as geological evidence supports it.

I read all of this idiot's posts in the voice of the where's the beef lady.

who am i kidding...no one reads his posts.

Go on...

its okay I don't read my posts either. Sometimes I wonder where these posts even come from. But I'm serious. Our planet has a nutural fluctuation of heating and cooling streaks. Granted, man may be pumping "greenhouse" gases into our atmosphere. But our planet is accustomed to having noxious gasses in its atmosphere. Imagine the shit that comes out of volcano's or through the holes in our oceans. The vents that emit sulphur. The fact of the matter is that our planet has a way of healing itself. Our plants use co2 and other gases to produce oxygen and reduce the contents of pollutants in our air. So long as that continues, our planet will always have stints of time where one period is warmer than another. History is cyclical and in time, another ice age will occur.

Don't worry..

Can you post a video of you explaining your theories on global warming. Make sure you say in the flesh in the flesh.

How can you reference something that hasn't occurred yet?

did you read my post?

ever heard of causation? you might have, its just the basis of scientific experimentation...? no? awww ok then.

causation is a phrase used in science and statistics to emphasize that correlation between two variables does not automatically imply that one causes the other

Your misinterpreting the definition of causation. Show me any peer reviewed article that states what the outcome of global warming will be to the human species and life on this planet?

Do you really think you can just dumb it down to say, carbon emissions have increased at this rate in the past couple of hundred years, therefore -> conclusion.

It doesnt work that way. What you are inciting is predicative evolution to which there are too many variables to make an accurate depiction. Therefore it is no longer science, hence why the IPCC took all that heat due to the speculations they made on the peer reviewed articles made by the actual scientist doing the research.

Causation is suppose to be used to understand and describe events that are repetitive with a large amount of variables isolated and accounted for. You can't write a peer reviewed article on speculation.

WHY it happened; here are the variables involved, this is why it will happen again.

Nrg2Nfinit is like that kid who can't help challenging you in some unwinnable competition, despite knowing full well you're using reverse psychology so they'll compete. In this case he's trying to see how hard he can lose, despite me calling him on it already.

It's truly sad that society can be so out of touch with science that some of its ground-breaking discoveries just go over the head of most people like that.

Yeah, you began this thread with the same basic strawman:

quote:
Anyone who thinks that simply "our role" in inducing carbon emissions being the sole cause of climate change is delusional and uneducated.

It's clear right from the start that you set out to dismantle a position that nobody has expressed. Only a tiny minority of extremely ignorant green lobbyists believe that humans are solely responsible for climate change or that it will destroy all life on the planet. Why bother setting yourself up in opposition to it? You wouldn't be restating this opinion repeatedly if you weren't implying that it's the commonly held opinion of the green lobby. Otherwise you may as well say: "Anyone who believes that the Illuminati are controlling global industry to raise sea-levels so the elder gods of the deep can reclaim this world is delusional and uneducated."

But there's no proof they're not, how can you call us delusional?!

Yes, that would supposedly be those who would try to debate me on the thesis i presented.

No it wouldn't, you utter fucking cretin. Nobody in this thread has claimed that climate change is totally our fault and it will end all life on this planet. Nobody. Quote one fucking person who has, you fuckwit. Everyone disagreeing with you is simply pointing out that you're making an irrelevant strawman and your "thesis" is generally full of holes and terrible logic.
