i'd love to become a full time dj, i don't want to be a top 100 dj but to earn money enough to keep doing it and spreading the music i love and making people happy with my music, behind every clubber there is a story, from someone that simply wants to have fun to someone whose heart is broken for some reason, exhausted after a harsh week of job and wanting to blow out... for me djing is also kind of a backdoor of my problems.

About producing i started it as a medium to improve my djing but with time i am starting to love the way i can imprint my feelings on a track, from uplifting melodies that really whisper something to edge techno , fierce, rage...

If i don't succeed it will always be my 2nd "job" it's useless trying to become the n�1 because there are so many factors , not only but also luck among of them, quitting your day job to become this is idiotic because you need effort,money involved, a minority of talent and lots of luck in big quantity

he's not really wrong with any part of what he said there. you started a thread to get information from a small sample of producers, which doesn't really tell you much of anything, and you haven't given any solid details or reasons why you think what you're attempting to do will actually work. what few details you have given don't sound very inspiring. yet you're still promoting it as the next big thing in EDM distribution. if you honestly didn't expect some cynical criticism from L4C then I dunno what to say.

your entire reaction to it hasn't addressed anything L4C actually criticized you for, they're just rants on his lack of confidence in your ability to make radical changes in this industry. you haven't offered substance, still refuse to, yet you keep focusing on him instead of just shutting up and proving him wrong like you obviously believe you can. so stop wasting your time and just do it.

Darek - it's just one person's opinion. Don't let it get to you. Seriously, it's times like this when you probably just need to step away from it for a bit and get your head back on straight, then re-channel all that negative energy into positive energy. We've all been there.

Ok, I didn't ask him for his opinion on my idea/concept so from my perspective he didn't offer me anything new (except his standard crappy bla, bla, bla and why this is an idiotic and stupid idea and trying to convince me that this is not going to work) -> how hard is to understand that people don't care about his trashing comment in their threads (except if they ask some specific technical question which in this area, I believe he can shine). Come on, man. This is all you, not knowing who you are and letting Loony get into your head to push your buttons. Everyone who has had a problem with him is guilty of the same thing - including me. The fact is that just because he trashes someone's idea, musically related or otherwise, doesn't mean he's "trashing most of our threads with no consequences." So what if he is trashing ideas? He is either wrong or right and if he's wrong, the consequence of him being wrong has no bearing on the results.

EDIT: Multi-tasking is stupidity.
