I think Arty has his set from ASOT 500 on repeat... same tracks pretty much

Arty has never been a very good DJ but an excellent producer and he always plays tracks that seems to get the crowd hyped, sooo....

His sets are pretty predictable though. I saw him twice in the past year and he pretty much is still spinning the same tracks.

huh? Sort of... but you'd have to expect him to play the bigger songs in his back catalog. It also goes to show that lately his productions haven't been as big.

Let's go line-by-line; he didn't play the following:

Tracks 02, 08, 09, 10, 11, and 12.

I'm not saying he couldn't play more variety, but he probably feels pigeonholed with all the talent surrounding him and is playing it safe by focusing on his stuff.

It could be worse. I remember Ferry at Sensation 2005 basically played the entire LEF album and one bootleg remix he did of the Prison Break theme. I was amazed someone with his diversity even went there.

That's fine, produce/remix/collaborate but at ASOT events I tune in to hear trance, which is what was played in London. Should all be better after this set.

Nice set so far Arty!

I will... for my archive of the event... but I know what you mean.

Arty perfectly demonstrating that most of the industry's producers make horrendous DJs, and get shown up so badly at events like this. Sadly, it doesn't seem to affect their drawing power or popularity!

And the most fabricated act in the history of trance to come after Armin.
