Musically, this will be THE trance event of conference. Even if you don't care for J00F, I think you'll be impressed with the rest. This event will show everyone what the genre was meant to be.
Yeah im pretty pumped now. Will be my first time seeing solarstone. Missing him this saturday in nyc so ill get my first time down there. Really looking forward to GO. Just keep me posted on when we ll meeting up. And ive been to wet willies during wmc and yeah its a little crowded but nothing ridiculous.
This is gonna be an epic TA meetup. By my count, 15-17 people (Juan and Gemini sorta implied but no actual confirmation). We might just take over half the club at this rate.

I apologize ahead of time for this rant.......
I hope a bunch of people don't jump ship now that J'OC is at Space that evening. Maybe this is just because I'm a huge Solarstone fan, but the talent at this party is what trance is all about. I really do like J'OC and he will certainly rock the main room over there, but that event will do well simply because it's Space. This Pure Trance event, however, actually needs our support. People are always running to the bigger club for the better known dj. This is a huge issue in the trance scene, and one of the main reasons I don't listen to nearly as much as in the past. The race for popularity has produced what I think we can all agree is a watered down version of such a beautiful genre. I'm not saying J'OC is part of this, because he isn't, but the conflict on this evening demands that a choice be made.
I'm in full support of the "to each their own" motto, but anybody that calls themselves a true trance fan has got to realize how good this lineup is. J00F is a LEGEND, period. All a person has to do is look back at Giuseppe in NU NRG to hear what trance is. On top of an impressive catalog, take a listen to Solarstone's Electronic Architecture compilations to hear progressive trance in an almost perfect form. I know that Kristina loves the pure trance sound, so she is a great fit and will bring plenty of energy to the night.
Part of this rant obviously comes from my love of a certain type of trance. I realize that other types exist, and I even like many of the other versions, but I feel like this event will put on display what trance was meant to sound like. I'm also writing in the hopes that people will not jump to the larger event, and we can fill this club with the support these artists deserve. Luckily, I don't think we need a lot of us in there, as the club is fairly small. I've taken a look at pictures and I'm actually looking forward to the venue. It used to be called PinkRoom, and the LED screen looks impressive. It should be a great setting for this type of sound. If you're one of those who already bought tickets, or not, and is on the fence, my suggestion is that you give it a shot. You could easily check out the place and the music and decide for yourself. Space will be open much much later and you could always leave before 2am if you're not "feeling it".... though you probably will be
. For the rest of you, who are as excited as I am, please conciously spread the word. There will be plenty of people in and around South Beach that week who will be undecided for Saturday night. If you find out they are into trance, or just up for anything, invite them out. Let's make this one of those parties to really remember. That is all.
PS - Before somebody asks, I don't work for the club or promoters, haha.
Well said DPetey.
Nice words, DPetey. Going to show support as have the same views as you have expressed in your post.

Since it isn't a big club maybe space is limited....on a side note i can't wait to see solarstone
Shoulda purchased stock in this one. And, I am surprised there aren't really any parties to do that this year. Last year, there was A LOT of parties that were safe bets to purchase stock in.
