I think Digweed really needs around 4 hours to shine at a festival setting. That would probably mean booking less supporting acts sadly

I might be back from the UK for the Canada Day event as well so I'm really looking forward to the next one

Hands down this was the track of the night for me! He played this in the last 30 minutes of his set.

Can anyone ID this?

I'm happy the weather complied with this event. Alex Mastro sounds like Green Velvet all the time when he's on the mic LOL.

I came in the middle of Mano's set...I dunno why all the hate for this guy. I was a bit skeptical before going in because his latest Boiler Room set was nothing to write home about, however I thought he played much better than that set and worked a good set for the most part, minus some meh tracks here and there.

Sven Vath immediately picked it up. He started at a faster tempo it seemed like and sound was louder all of a sudden. He played really well throughout his set and like I mentioned drunkenly before, he could have played longer. I don't get the crowd though...like I seriously thought this guy was playing a solid set but the crowd wasn't getting into it as much as I thought they should have.

I went to Coda afterwards but decided not to go in. Sucks that it wasn't that busy there, but the next day was a work day afterall. I hope Mr. Vath understood that and doesn't feel he doesn't have Toronto love, because this guy and Mano played much better than Sasha a while ago and some of these other boring k hole tech house guys. I hope he does come back again soon.

Yeah washrooms...big lineups but it did move fast. Yes, people didn't realize there were more urinals off to the side. Security was at least telling people to go there. They should have forcibly made people start to wait for the urinals off to the side first.

Weed police out in full force. I guess Platform is really cutting down on that stuff. I didn't check out the food situation but I had a feeling even 4 food trucks wouldn't be enough. You guys should do what Digital Dreams is doing and have ppl load up on funds on their wristbands or seriously incorpate Interac Tap technology for these things.

Overall, I had a good time which may be surprising to you guys! I just wish these things were held on the Sunday before the Monday that people have off but I guess that's it and that also it would happen more often.

This track kicked off the night for me ^. He played way too hard in the first half of his set but that last 45 minutes was absolute destruction.

He needed atleast 5 hours to showcase his diversity on those decks.

God a I love that tune, so glad he played it. Thank you for the ID.

Not much to say that hasn't been said already...

Was told at security that I couldn't come in with my dslr camera and I had to check it in a locker, which were sold out. I made a point of checking the ticket and website before leaving the house to see if it was an issue but only found that food and drinks were not allowed in so I brought it with me. Luckily I found CODA Joel hanging outside near the lineup and he told security to let me in (thank you!). Unfortunately didn't take that many photos, but here's a few of them.

I feel spoiled.. Sven twice in one weekend! Hopefully they made some money so they can bring him back next summer!
