I pulled the trigger on the Traktor S2 MKIII. I'm now a DJ. Lol

Just waiting for it to arrive.

Posted by Hides in Shadow on Jun-04-2019 18:39:

omg, I'm waiting for a response on 2nd hand license of NI's Enhanced EQ.

The best cutting tube shelving filter I ever tried on synths or whatever to take out the mud, low end rumble etc...

Its either this or Moog Filter SE from UAD, in my case a cpu saving alternative.

Dude, not that I'm someone to encourage piracy, but Jaun, why the fuck do you insist on buying license to basically demo shit.

Download the "demo" and if you really use it, then go buy a license.

You sound pist off my gosh. This concept is totally worth it just don't do gift option in PayPal and you can't get scammed, I'm sure you already know PayPal always sides with buyer FYI.

Who says I'm demoing after buying? I did that already from the NI website when I clicked on try demo send download link? lol. Do you need to visit the eye doc or something? You also spelled my name incorrectly, dude.

License Transfering is not piracy ffs.

Take some time off TA and review Phaze, don't worry or get caught in the middle about investments from people you never seen or met. We all know you love be on here to give advice Rann, imo, get some contacts or a pair of glasses.

To move away from school playground pettiness.

This week I have been mostly buying a Specular Tempus, a Drumbrute Impact, an Arturia MicroFreak and a Roland TR8S.

Out of curiousity, my last pc died,I have an i5 laptop which lifts off in seconds after starting up Ableton... Do AMD's deliver (again)?
Can't afford new gear at the moment but just curious.

Calm Juanita.

I'm the last person who is going to get angry about your financial shenanigans.

I'm simply making the observation that you constantly seem to be talking about money troubles while simultaneously discussing buying licences for software you want to try out.

You're not a commercial producer. AFAIK you haven't had a commercially released track.

I'm not condoning piracy, buy whatever the fuck you want - as Palm once said, you virtually singlehandedly kept the used hardware market alive with all the impulse buying and selling you did, and it seems you've moved on to licenses.

So my friendly advice was to demo it for 6 months and id you're still using it, then buy it.

You can take or leave the advice. Just seems daft to spend what you do given how much you change your mind.

Yeah you win def by bringing up my past endeavors trying to come back from a mistake you fail to admit you misread by replying with something other than the point, good job, def impressed with your skills.

Point was you misread License transfering for Piracy and on your 2nd post you mentioned again saying you don't condone it, lol who that's legit does? See you missed the point here ^

Again get a pair of glasses.

You also own an Apogee symphony - a truly great DAC - but are considering a Burl ADC which is a $2,300 two channel DAC.

This thread was literally started by you, about all the shit you want to buy, have bought and inevitably will move on from.

Hence the advice of just demo the thing and if you're still using a it while from now, buy the license or the hardware.

But again, take the advice or don't.

It's not my money and I'm glad your supporting the software industry.

I5 laptop should be alright for some production, just make sure you have an SSD and plenty of ram. I can't believe how cheap SSD's have got here.

Just bought a smaller Sammy SSD for for $60.

AMD are apparently about to make a comeback. They've launched a new architecture platform that will outpace intel, Windows just announce an enhancement to the OS that favors ADM and it seems their new Gen of chips is being hotly placed a future favorite for PC gamers and if that happens, AMD will probably take pole position for performance from intel.

Current models, I'm not so up to date on, but certainly the ones comeing out this year and next are going to be pretty good.

Wow, you went on to my facebook for that shit? Jesus, the level of come back needed by you I always thought more of you. I must have pushed your button Also, that was a joke on the contrary I have a lot of things I want to get for my Birthday and I have things that I dont need that are stationary and not in use.

Your're getting dumber each post. You just had to give me an attitude over an NI 3 band Tube EQ with shelving that I bought from another NI user, which according to NI, still legit.

You skipped the point again, didn't you say piracy on your first 2 posts? what suddenly backing down from that now? You're advice sucks this time, I could of just read the same thing from the NI disclaimer when I already done it (Demoed) then bought 2nd hand for 20$ original is 49$

I never bought software plugins that I have not demoed in my entire life. This is like toddler advice bra.

Posted by Mel David on Jun-16-2019 07:28:

I caved in & crossgraded to iZotope Neutron 3. I now have zero excuses for bad mixing. At least in theory.

AS I said before: calm Juanita.

You have social media links are plastered all over your sig, and have posted facebooked linked pictures - from your own facebook in dozens of threads, including this one, so it's not like I hired a PI to find your secret profile lol. I clicked on one of the many FB pictures you've linked...........

............and the first post is you at 3am asking the world whether you should replace your very expensive DAC, with an incredibly expensive DAC. To make trance mixes in your bedroom.

You keep incorrectly banging on about me accusing you piracy, and if you actually, you know, read the thread, I'm suggesting the opposite.

But again, do whatever the fuck you want. I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who are happy to keep getting amazing deals from your need to buy and sell kit and licenses at a net loss.

are the dynaudio dbm50 any good? have a chance to pick up a pair for dirt cheap, never heard them so I'd have to buy them blind. They seem underpowered at 50w for the 7.5 woofer + they're old.

Posted by tehlord on Aug-10-2019 09:12:

All Dynaudio monitors are good in my experience, although you'll either like the sound or you won't. They are very mid focused, like having a magnifying glass on all the delicious detail.

That all depends on room size...

They were good speakers and Dynaudio are a legit brand and make quality products....but remember they're nearly 10 years old now and those models I think were meant to only be desk mounted as they slope up to the listening position. If you ever change your setup from a low desk they'll be redundant. Not sure if you can still get parts if something blows. Don't worry about the wattage - 50w is fine for a 7" as things like coil efficiency matter more. The obsession with wattage is more an idiot hifi thing, or more or those running PA systems where it really matters.

How cheap? Like $250 - then jump on them. Anything significantly more I would pass. I think they were about a $1k a pair when they came out.

With the Scarlett? That's a pretty good deal. I liked those interfaces.

The Presonus look good. Do you need a small woofer? Small room? otherwise go 7". That extra 2" makes a difference. Ask the missus.

dont feel like spending much money on this shit, if I did definetly some focal alpha 65s, they cost a little more here than europe though.
