I've been told that cams are allowed, but NO VIDEO cams...only still shots...which is kinda fucked up since i can make movies with my digicam...but i guess what they don't know can't hurt them...

This is the tentative schedule - there may be a few changes.

You may notice that someone is missing - ME - and here is why:

About three months ago I got booked for NYE in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. The agency sent contracts and everything but nothing happened for a month. Since it didn't appear to be going ahead and we had already turned down offers from other events, we decided to do the Destiny event. About 1 week ago, the deposit and a travel itinerary arrived 'out of the blue' so to speak.... technically, I could just say no because they didn't get the money and everything sorted when they were supposed to, but, honestly, its just not my style to cancel gigs even if the promoter is the one at fault. I know my capable partners in crime can hold down the Toronto front and I also know you are all in for a night of absolutely phenominal music at Viva, so I have decided to take the plunge and head over seas. Technically its 99% - there is still some last minute paperwork to come through, but its likely I will not be here for NYE, so raise a glass for my at midnight and I hope to see you all very soon!

good for you! I wish more DJs had your eithic. I know the Destiny party will be a great bash I look forword to that DJ lineup.

You're one of the most respected DJs/promoters in the TO area and any party you put on I'll support.

there are no early bird tickets left. as a matter of fact i went today (boxing day) and it was said that if i buy a ticket on or before boxing day, i would get it for $35. i payed $40 cause there were none left. in fact there was only ONE $40 left when i bought it. this was at Tripp in Fairview Mall

CORRECTION Just got my tickets from TicketMaster Online.

i think i asked this before, but i didnt really get a reply. lets say im coming from the states (michigan), and i am no where near any of those ticket locations. if i ordered them from ticketmaster, is there going to be a will call window? or how else could i get tickets? any help is appreciated thanks.

Theres a number of things you can do. Best thing would be to get someone in Toronto to get the ticket for you and then you pay them back (I would, but after buying my ticket im broke ). Im not sure whether they can hold you ticket at the window, you can phone ticketmaster and ask them about this. Or, you could buy the ticket at the door, theres a chance it might be sold out but I reallu doubt it.

We all wish you could be here for NYE, but if you got a gig overseas then i'd be alot happier if you went just because you've been doing this for so long and you deserve it. Your definitely one of Canada's finest, so make some noise over there!!!!!

Probably not... i know Dr. Disk in Hamilton is sold out... we managed to get our tix a week ag, but there was a $4 service charge... grrr....ah well, it would've cost most to go a party at somewhere shitty, so i'm not upset.

YES - Will Call will be handled by the guestlist girl at the front door. SHe will have will call from Ticketmaster and Tripledecks

Oh yeah - tickets are not sold out yet - I just dropped off the last bunch at NUMB and Play De Record - and someone will hit Tripp tomorrow. As well, there are still a few stores with some straglers here and there. In all, there are about 300 tickets floating around out there (including through ticketmaster and tripledecks.com). We are holding a limited amount for the door as well (likely about 100) - so don't delay - get your tix today!
