However, there are very few underage people that go to these events for the music. They GENERALLY want to be up front, dancining in circles and trying to look cool since its the cool place to be that night as well a change from the typical alcohol drinking, pot smoking regurgitating parties. These types of people also exist in the 18+ genre, except are usually more mature and sensible. You'll eventually understand. If you dont then open up an underage promoting company i guess.

Such behaviour can be irritating, but is that a reason for not allowing 15-17 year olds into events like Two Tribes?

Underage people arn't allowed into these events due the fact that alcohol is sold (and that there is a bunch of drug taking going on, but that cant be an official reason of course). Its easier to deny entry than ask everyone for id at the bar, or risk being sued if an underaged person does by alcohol. Its also much more profitable, since clubs make most of their money from the sale of drinks.

In conclusion, generally I do dislike underage people because of the above reasons. However, i do not dislike Trancey Ash, You (Ves), Timmah, or the other underaged Au.Ta's since if you post here, then your probably in it for the music and not to look cool.

I understand what you're saying escee. I suppose that's something I'll understand about underagers when I'm older and go to more events. I'd like to think that generally underagers are not like that. But, I don't know, perhaps they are. Most of you au.TAs seem to think they are generally a bunch of try hards. I guess I'll find out what the majority of 15-17 year old event goers are like when I'm at Two Tribes. I hope that my ideas about the majority of underage kids are right, and that they are generally mature and not out there to spoil things for everyone else...and if I'm not right, I'll be bitterly disappointed. I guess I'm just idealistic.

hehe! that could be an interesting venture. I suppose it would give me something to do these holidays.

Smiley DJ

Wow!@

What an awesome line up.

Stipsy... any word as to why Tiesto isn't playing in Sydney as part of the TT gig?

Is there ANY possible chance that may change?

Posted by Efff_Beee on Dec-23-2002 23:14:

Woo

I am <--> this close to booking my flight from Gold Coast to Melbourne for TT.

Guys... Virgin Blue still have a sale on, and Sydney to Melb is only $69 one way.

At the moment I can get return G.C to Melb for only $220!

I am so close to flying down...

But who will look after me...

Posted by stipsy on Dec-24-2002 00:45:

dude theres going to be a huge TA contingency down here for the event!..its not like youll be by yourself!

Posted by mi7ch on Dec-24-2002 01:34:

for all you 15-17 year olds out there. imagine going to a party and seeing packs of 9-11 year olds runnin around. not that i got anything against it, just can get anoying if there in your face to much.

Posted by Mikrop on Dec-24-2002 02:24:

Hmmm... So... We're getting most of the big names in one hit... Hopefully that doesn't mean a smaller number of quality events...

AvB walks all over Tiesto

Well I am looking forward to the other names to be added to the list. I think TT Sydney could do with just 1 more big name to make it REALLY interesting.

Common Stipsy do your work

Posted by Efff_Beee on Dec-27-2002 00:54:

After reading the other thread on M.I.K.E doing an Aussie tour later in the year, I doubt he is going to be a late inclusion into the TT lineup
