Damn it!

Why do so many brilliant tunes never get a decent release? It's a disgrace...

But anyway, I also respect if someone doesn't like our music, the world is so big...

That's a fact. I saw you guys twice in a "hard-to-make-people-dance" club, the Mad of Lausanne; last Friday, the crowd went nuts with your latest productions... I had this bet with a friend: you can play 10 DuMonde productions in a row, the crowd will keep getting nuts and won't be tired ! That's a FACT, even with the hardest crowd ! We don't have to talk about "hyping" and stuff like because probably more than 50% of the crowd doesn't know about JamX and DeLeon... (occasionnal clubbers)

Cheers,

Romain / www.tekkno.cc

also, since i've been away for awhile, does anyone have any news on the dumonde remix of Symsonic? has it been released yet or are they spinning it live??

regards..

Posted by romain_2k2c on Feb-02-2003 22:56:

I think it's for spring 2003 - they are spinning it live, indeed.

Very cool that someone from Dumonde came onto here.

To Dumonde, love your songs, but especially your remixes like Missed Beat and Tin Tin Out. I got to meet you guys at Godskitchen Global Gathering in 2002 in the VIP room... I was getting your guys' autographs and AJ ran up and yelled "CAN U DIG IT?" hahaha, great moment. Much respect to you two and can't wait to hear what you have in store for us in 2003.

you dont like mind made up or can you dig it?

thats fair enought

2 me they ROCK!

Ahum, nice avatar.......

And Dumonde will be back in 2003, stronger than ever! Just listen to "Symsonic" and you know what I'm talking about. If "Human" is of the same quality, they rock!

Respect

I havent really liked Dumondes style since 2000. Therefore I'm not looking forward to this new tune.

I liked them when they did this sort of stuff:-
Steve Morley - Reincarnations (Jam X & De Leon remix)
Dumonde - Tomorrow
CRW - I feel love (Jam X & De Leon remix)

dumondes stuff never gets old
even if it does all sound the same or whatever
each song has a unique quality to it

and i agree with teknohead they all probably would sound great irl
but then again i have yet to see dumoude in person
sooo yeah

im hella looking forward to this release

I wish I could, but there are no rips or sets that contain it I've been waiting about 4 months now to hear this one!

Well, first thank you for respecting our work, man!

Generally speaking, we try to do the music for ourselves first, if the people like it they like it - fine , if they don't like it... then they won't buy it, easy game.
But we sell so many copies on our own label F8T Records, that something must be right with our tracks (in the view of the people out there).
And yes we are doing these tunes to play them in a club and not on the computer. If we spin for example a set of 2-3 hours, we use to start softer and then build it to the climax in the end... which is to play our own tracks. The last 30-40 minutes of our sets are always our own tracks, productions or new remixes. The last 30-40 minutes are always the best minutes of the whole set time! Everytime the people go crazy... can't really tell you why... must have to do with the choice of tracks...

But anyway, I also respect if someone doesn't like our music, the world is so big...

Dominik de Leon of DuMonde

Hey...can't believe your on these boards but i was just wondering if your remix of the ELT song will ever get released and how about re-releasing Ayumi Hamaski - Trauma (Dumonde Remix)...i desperately need to buy these songs..

Also do you think maybe you can do a production with Alphazone...that would be fucking awesome.

Dumonde's Productions/remixes, are just so perfect for a club. They really bring it to life.

usually get a few thousand peeps going.
