I think this party missed out on some attention 'cause of Ultra Spin the day after, so I just want to repeat for the record that THIS WAS AN AWESOME PARTY!!!

Well there's nothing wrong with the touchy-feely friskers. Those girls were hot.

Speaking for guys, of course. That opinion would differ with (some) girls.

They could've been a bit more gentle. I mean the one who frisked me pulled and squeezed and...I think I'll have to try another one next time

wow. for the most part, the party sounded GREAT!...
argh. i only wish i was at home to go!!! viva nightclub is only about 10-15min drive from where i live!!

ah well. i dont know anyone here, since i don't really post on ta ... altho i read the topics ... cuz hell there are a LOAD of replies ... i donno how u guys would recognize each other. not that it's a bad thing .. a great thing actually .
hell, i meet so few ppl that like trance .. even less azns ... well i know ppl taht download, listen to trance .. but.. u know, community-wise, i guess.

haha that's awesome, that's why ta.com rocks....
...also i think trance.nu isn't a bad place .... altho ta.com is canadian.. =D

plus, i have to say. yes, there are many ppl doing drugs. azn,..caucasian..doesn't really matter where u go there will b ppl doing that. but like DigiNut said msot of the regulars that go there probably do drugs. doesn't mean they dont like trance music tho... hell, anyone that gets hi at any rave/club doesn't necessarily mean they do it solely for getting hi. its for mixxing the experience together.

I dunno HOW I missed RJ's & Shawzy's comments about these 2 girls, but they just caught my attention now. I'm just a little perturbed cuz I met these girls & thought they were class acts.
(~breathes deeply~)

1- C'mon shawzy, 'cheap bras'? When was the last time u walked thru the lingerie dept. , cuz that cut/ style is typical of 80% of the bras they carry, but with less padding. What constitutes a 'high class' bra then? Something lacy and see-thru? < that would be inappropriate to walk around in. Or is it the color that bothers you? just wondering....

IT'S A BRA, people!!! Man, I never thought I'd see the day where the sausage fest known as tranceaddict would complain about a couple of cute girls showing cleavage. Real 'classy' of you guys to make a judgement like that of someone you didn't even talk to, to qualify those comments.

Here's some tips: You might want to avert your eyes the next time u go to the beach or a pool, cuz there's a thing called a 'bikini' that women like to wear to those places. OH! And don't DARE go clubbing in Ibiza cuz chicks even go dancing in their bikinis at the clubs. UK? Nix that too- girls in booty shorts, half-tops and fun-fur boots galore! Let's not forget those dancers that Viva and Guv hires to entertain us too. Oh, the horror!!

These girls are REALLY nice people, and you can tell by their faces. They were not doing anything 'slutty' on the dance floor either- if they were, I'd agree with you, but they weren't. And I've seen plenty of FULLY CLOTHED women act like whores at clubs, so it has nothing to do with how much or little u wear. You could strip these girls naked, and put them next to ANY fully-clothed stripper bimbo who regulars the Guv, and I'll show you who has 'no class' between the two.

I just don't get it.....

ah wells .. i'm not complainin, hope to see them again infact !

Posted by tatgirl on Mar-12-2003 14:58:

Might I also state for the record that Viva has a tendency to crank the heat in there for some reason on Fri. nites. They finally turned it off mid- Johan's set. It can get pretty hot in there.

'Class' is how u carry yourself, not what you are, or aren't. wearing.

here's my 2 cents. I haven't seen those girls, so I'm not going to judge them. There is a difference between a bra and bikini. Bikini actually looks good. Therefore, I would prefer if they would wear bikini's instead of bra's

Being the promoter and all I must take care of the people. Nat please inform those 2 women to make sure they do NOT go on the dance floor dressed like that. Just make sure they are up in the dj booth with me.

itikia

BTW, tell them to leave their tops at home as we have a strict topless dress code in the DJ booth.

Posted by beatjunkie on Mar-12-2003 16:02:

Oh Im sorry I didn't realize it was appropriate to walk around in a bra. If you ask me they look like a couple of young girls, looking for attention. NOT CLASS! I can't believe you are justifying this TATGIRL, oh its hot in here lets take off our shirts

. I disagree with your statement about class is how you carry yourself, true it is, but it is also how you present yourself.

Now if all you guys want to flame me "Because it's a couple hot chicks in bras" just imagine that was your daughter..... and the bras look cheap.

Posted by Sand Leaper on Mar-12-2003 16:18:

Since when did girls running around in their bras bother guys????Am I missing something here???

Anyways, that vid of Gielen was enough for me to wish I was there.Loved the way he kept speeding up and slowing down that effect on Igor S - Boomerang, awesome tune.Glad u guys enjoyed yourself!

man have any of you guys been to raves in TO back in 1998-2000 .. ? geez i've seen far worse than just girls wearing bras ! by those standards this is pretty tame ! anyways, i just think it's kinda crazy debating over something like this .. let them wear what they want, who are we to judge .. ?

Posted by OrZonE on Mar-12-2003 17:58:

Ppl I'm really laughing at you. Why do you care whether they have class or not? Are you planning on marrying them? So what the the bras look cheap? Either enjoy the sight or ignore them, it's not like they're bothering you.

Posted by beatjunkie on Mar-12-2003 18:02:

It was simply an opinion and I was questioned on it. It is plain to see that I was not the only one who thought this. I'll end it here unless anyone else wants to discuss further......

Posted by SatterS on Mar-12-2003 18:06:

I just wanted to send a quick thank you to all the TA's at Viva I rode in with my friends from Detroit to see Johan, an almost religious experience looking back now. You guys produced a great party vibe around me. Major respect and much thanks tatgirl for all the great energy. It only got better at BT, Ferry, and Holden. Toronto OWNZ!

P.S. Those 2 girls were totally chill and not looking for attention just some sweet beats from oliver and gielen.

LOL I cannot believe all the negative comments about the 2 topless girls...

Guys, you know who you are. You're the ones that drool over the hot women on the dance floor but never even bother to say "hello" to them... then go home with your stiffies and wank off to the Sears catalog (or maybe porn, if it's not too dirty for you).

Sorry boys, but you're being idiots. I myself am rather shy in crowds, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that you're just bitter because YOU didn't pick up. You are the same people who take this elitist attitude that every party HAS to be about NOTHING but the music, any drugs, sex, etc. should be banned. Give me a break. I'm all about loving the music, but meeting people is what life is about.

Would -you- want to go see a talented DJ in an empty room? Sure, the music would be great, but what fun would it be?

P.S. I wasn't complaining about the frisky bouncers, I was complimenting them.

P.P.S. love the pics Tat!

P.P.P.S. I just saw Hartec's name online right now, HARTEC YOU RULE!! When are you going to have some downloadable sets for us!?

Hmm, look but don't touch... Yeah, I must say that it's definately more advantageous for both parties if guys would drop their fears, insecurities, or whatever it is and just say "hi" to a girl, instead of simply gazing at them from afar. From what I've seen and heard, the fear of rejection appears to be a big factor in deciding on whether or not to approach a girl. Really though, even if you did get a negative reaction from a girl, how bad could it really be? If nothing comes of your conversation (or lack there of), oh well, move on. Personally, I'd much rather have a guy approach me and talk to me instead of standing there just watching or what not. We're not going to beat you or anything... Besides, I'm sure you guys would much rather take the 'risk' and end up hooking up with a girl than sitting at home after the party and kicking yourself for not even having tried. *deposits her 2 cents*

Posted by beatjunkie on Mar-12-2003 21:28:

WOW,
With all the detail in how I feel and look at club life (not to mention I haven't even met you) makes me kind of think the above description may be a little close to home. It is crazy how you know exactly what I think and do after I go out to the club. Not to mention I have a girlfriend and don't need to go to clubs to look at girls in bras, that is not part of my club life. Maybe this is what you yourself fuel on and you are the one who is going home to "wank off" on all the girls you wish you could just say hi to. You were right on two things and that is the music and people. I have met a lot of cool people partying over the years and I have heard some of my favortie DJ's. But just like macho-ginos, juice heads, and 40 year old asians I hate attention whores, my opinion simply stated. If you don't like it fine.

Diginutsack, you want to call a lot of people who are stating an opinion in a respectable converastion "idiots" and "bitter" while you seem to be the one who is the most defensive? And not to mention your post sounds about as mature as you probably are. You say in your post that you are rather shy in crowds and that kind of leads me to believe that you are just trying to get some shit off your back. Well I hope you are better now and will have the courage to go up to that good looking girl next time and say hi. Good Luck!

P.S. - I can't help if first impressions are based on looks, Im sure these two chicks are cool as hell, I am commenting on the picture I saw.
