i never hide the fact that i think ben thompson is a grade A nobber, but he was very good at his job. yes lately the line-ups hes been putting on have been falling short of amazing, but in the past he has done some really good shit, and im sure the impact of his not being there will be felt by many.

as for GC closing... its one thing closing it because its not making enough money to stay afloat, but its another thing closing it because they cant be arsed to get a good promoter. i dont think it will close, simply because GC pulls in the money now every month, easily enough to make a large profit. its sold out nearly every time ffs.

if it does close i will gladly eat my hat.
