03. is indeed 03. and the Chains of Babylon tune is the only one between 01. and 03.

If 2d track is Johannes Heil - Chains of Babylon, then there is one more track between Johannes Heil & Fatboy Slim! Are you sure about Club Mix in BBE track??? After Nalin & Kane, was a little break and then was sound from studio for near a minute, then they turned back live sound at Dance For Eternity!

No, there is only one track between 06:08 and 13:56. Please download the set and check it for yourself. It might be that Track 2 is not Johannes Heil, I am not sure. But definitely, it is the only track between 01. and 03.

After Nalin and Kane there was silence for some time, then there was a hole in the broadcast for three seconds, then there was a lot of chaos for four minutes, several tracks played without any smooth transition, abrupt changes etc. Then there was another completely dead "hole" in the broadcast for about two seconds and after that there was a tune for about one minute that finally saw a smooth transition into "Dance For Eternity". I removed all the parts between the two "holes". Please check the set!

I recorded all sets from satellite, but i missed only part for near a 10 minutes when my comp got restarted I will wait for a rebroadcasts and if they won't repeat Kai Tracid's set, i'll download it. I listened yesterday sample for Chains of Babylon, and i didn't hear it in his set. I gonna check that set later at night or tomorrow, to be sure about it.

OH MY GOD!!!!

CONFIRMED: PvD played my remix of Mainx - 88 To Piano

PLUS...

He also played my new track called PANIC MODE 1 or 2 tracks before 88 To Piano. So it might be the one ID with the question mark (not sure the position because I don't have the full mix here, and there are no download slots left in sendspace).

Panic Mode will be released on Maelstrom soon... I guess in December.

If you wanna check the track better, you can listen to the track straight from my most recent mix (NU TRANCE vol. V): << DOWNLOAD HERE >>
(the track starts fading in at 45 mins and 42 sec.)

I won't tell you the rest of the tracklist since I know how much you love IDing tracks...

This an incredibly huge day for me...

Cangratulations, pal! About your Panic Mode track if it's right after Miss Melody - Salinas 2006 (Original Mix) [Pulsar Records] which sounds like Marcel Woods, then i don't like it! Or you wanna say there is one more track??? Please, place that track in playlist where exectly it is.

Dan Reaves
04. John O'Callaghan & Kearny - Exactly (Original Mix) [Discover]

Tillmann Uhrmacher
06. Tillmann Uhrmacher - The Pride In Your Eyes (Om Nama Shiva) (Tillmanns Midnight Extended Mix) [Vandit]
08. Selu Vibra - Devine (Sean Tyas Rework) [Somatic Sense]
12. Tillmann Uhrmacher - Free 2006

I recorded SonneMondSterne at friday night, at sunday had to reinstall Windows and lost my drivers to Sat DVB card so missed Nature One Spezial Part 1 on Viva friday night and rebroadcast sunday night! (( Ojay, do you have that 30 mins video in original bitrate and size as it's broadcasted on satellite 544*576. I recorded from Viva Loveparade and 16mins file took 500MB! Your size is too small to be original! Also we don't have link to Dan Reaves! As i know, Nature One was broadcasted on video stream from official website, have anyone that video ripped?

I thought DJGolf was there till Kai Tracid's performance, so i wanted to ask him about what was between Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes and Kai Tracid - Dance For Eternity. As i understand Kai ended set with Open Your Eyes, it was somewhere near 05.51. Then maybe someone from Organizers said him that he has some 10 minutes, and he played Dance For Eternity!? Please, someone who was there figure out what was there for real.

I will as soon as I have the full mix again... I downloaded it at work and now the dl slots are over... :S

Posted by Fabio Stein on Aug-16-2006 12:28:

OK, got it.

Panic Mode starts exactly at 30 mins and 12 secs on the full uncut PvD mix and it finishes up at 36 mins and 08 secs, right before the Other Side accapella kicks in.

So, well, I guess it's the one you didn't like...

But how does it sound like Marcel Woods???

Track no. 6 in BBB's Set is "I-Robots - Frau [Boysnoize Records 006]".
And I think there is no track between Cirez D and Fedde Le Grand.

02. Fedde Le Grand - Just Trippin (Danny Freakazoid Remix)
03. Don Diablo Feat. The Beatkidz - Blow (Sebastian Leger Remix)
04. ?
05. Claude Vonstroke - The Whistler [Dirtybird] [DB 5]
06. I-Robots - Frau [Boysnoize Records 006]
07. Cirez D - Knockout (? Remix)
no track in between
08. Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Hands Up (Chi-Town Edit)
09. Switch - A Bit Patchy
10. Pete Heller - Big Love (? Remix)
11. Erick Morillo - Jazz In Your Face
12. Bodyrox - Yeah Yeah (D Ramirez Remix)
13. ?
14. Cirez D - Punch Drunk + CZR & ITO - Bringin The Funk (Acapella)
15. ?
16. ? + Todd Terry - Something Goin' On (Preacher Vocal) (Acapella)
17. Steve Angello - Teasing Mr. Charlie + Kevin Irving - House Ain't Giving Up (Acapella)
18. Cirez D - Mouseville Theme [Mouseville]

I think this must be right.

Posted by djash on Aug-16-2006 17:12:

5th track in PvD set starts at 20min and ends near 26! The you can hear Other Side vocals. And melody from that 5th track really very similar to Marcel Woods style So, Fabio, if you sure that track from 20 till 26min of original sound is your track, i'll insert it in playlist.

p33r, you're right. I listened carefully and there is no track between Cirez D and Fedde Le Grand.

I was counting the time on the last mp3 posted with the full set... I realise that PvDs mix starts a little later.

Anyway, I guarantee that Panic Mode finishes right before the Other Side accapella kicks in.

I decided to upload a release containing the full 10h (exactly 599 minutes) of the first "Nature One" day (04./05.). Be warned: I did not remove anything, not even the commercials. To keep the file size small I transcoded the 10h from 192k mp2 to 48k OGG (total file size for the 10h around 200MB). Ogg Vorbis is the very best encoder for low bitrates (better than aac+v2) so that the sound quality is good (sometimes I did not find a quality difference between the original broadcasted quality and the transcoded one). The file size is extraordinary small for such a good sound quality.

Which Programs do you use for ripping directly from the radio or a stream to mp3?

Posted by djash on Aug-17-2006 10:05:

Ogg vorbis format is total shit. I remeber downloaded a few years ago tracks from some website in ogg. They sounded very bad, and i had to encode them in mp3. You'll better upload in 192mp3, but separate before on a few parts by hjsplit!

I listened last tracks in Kai's set. That rave track which you said played by Kai, was played by radio and faded out into Dance For Eternity, as i said from the beginning.

Believe me, the sound quality of my upload is okay!

Ogg Vorbis (or better the aoTuV variant (which I used)) is the best encoder on the net (better than the new Nero aac+ encoder). Blind listening tests done by people over at hydrogenaudio.org support that.

I use a DAB radio for sunshine-live broadcasts that saves the digital mp2 stream directly to a 1GB SD-card without decoding. The same radio is connected to my PC via an optical cable (SPDIF) - useful when I want to do a LIVE relay of the stream (then in mp3 or aac+ because shoutcast doesn't allow mp2 or ogg relays...).

Posted by djash on Aug-17-2006 14:35:

I record from satellite radio on my comp in original mpa format via Digital satellite receiver PCI Skystar 2 DVB-S card. Then i edit it in Sounde Forge and encode in mp3 192kbit 44.1kHz

Posted by DJGolf on Aug-17-2006 14:47:

I converted to 192kbps 44.1khz and the quality is good However the quality Andrey has recorded it might be better since he ripped it from digital sattelite.

Posted by djash on Aug-17-2006 15:18:

Ojay uses the same digital steam difference only DAB-T and DAB-S (Terra and Satellite), i think. But i'm trying to make less sound transformations. Record in mpa stream in ProgDVB program, then encode in wav (uncompressed audio), open in Sound Forge, edit it, use Equalizer, volume if needed. Save in wav and encode in mp3 for best performance! But i have very slow internet to upload my rips, otherwise you'll have the best releases over the net.

Satellite DVB-S (not DAB-S) is encoded in mp2 (although you got the mpa extension: "MPeg Audio" or MPA in short is still mp2). The sunshine-live satellite bitrate is at 192kbps mp2, my DAB radio bitrate of sunshine-live is also at 192kbps mp2. That means: no quality difference between satellite and radio. Decoding and re-encoding a digital audio stream always means a small (most often not audible) quality loss. I usually prefer cutting and uploading the original digital audio source (that means mp2-files). Cutting is done with mp3DirectCut (the program cuts both mp3 and mp2 audio) without decoding and therefore without any quality loss.

For the 10h upload this morning I could not do that simply due to the sheer size of the mp2 original audio source (almost 1GB). Therefore my OGG upload.

Posted by djash on Aug-17-2006 18:22:

DAB (digital audio broadcast) Sunshine Live stream has 48kHz, so anyway that must be changed to 44.1kHz. Also their sound last 3 month has increased high frequencies and low volume level. So i edit it in Sounde Forge. mp2 format is inproper for different players to listen music. So my circuit is the best.
