ah yes, I forgot about this awesome thread! I think this would be a solid contribution.

THIS... free download too. I've really been digging the stuff 4peace has been putting out recently. A lot of soul/jazz/funk, but with a little jack to it. Good stuff, and he puts a lot of it up for free.

Heard this while listening to a Danny Howells set and he had it pitched up a bit...sounded great.

The only place I could find an mp3 was Amazon, and it was only 256kbps. Is that where you got your copy?

Yeah, I do a lot of purchasing off Amazon... even though they are only 256 and not 320, they're a bit cheaper than Beatport and I don't really notice the sound quality difference all that much.

Recent upload, needs more exposure.

I haven't seen any indications of one but Editorial does offer a lot of stuff digitally, so most likely later this year or next.


Turn Me On is a close second for me...it's so phat.

Been picking up a lot of nice funky/disco House this year...Editorial is definitely a label to follow, they churn out the best cuts.

Gramatik is definitely bringing the funk. One of the best shows I have seen this year. Live band, balanced, funky, electronic, amazing arranger of tracks in a set. Very versatile as well.
Also, a wonderfully talented producer, whose sound is derived from many different genres of music. If he comes to your city, I would highly recommend seeing him.
