Yeah, I can totally see Get Lost becoming the 'new SS4D' if they keep having it at Ice Palace in years after this.
More Prydz tickets on sale
I hope i can get a pass for saturday and sunday for the second weekend now for a good price. I would pay 150. With Cirez D ( Prydz) playing before Hawtin and Carl Cox in that tent all playing two hour sets, i just cant miss that. Will it be worth staying for Voorn and Fanciulli for a few hours or go get some rest before ultra saturday? Then i want to hit up Space afterwards and then show up to Asot 600 later then earlier since i got the saturday fix in. I honestly just want to see Markus-Armin at asot 600.
I found a guy who sold me his ticket for Saturday weekend 1 for $135. I couldn't be happier unless I can find it for cheaper (which I might in the days coming up) but I'm just excited I get to see the Carl Cox Tent and Faithless. Loco was dropped off the lineup but they then gave Carl a 3-hour slot.
Rumors of a Vandit Night on Friday. GO, PVD, Morph, so far have been speculated. Nothing is set in stone. Just a heads up.

He's in Nashville the 22nd so that seems unlikely but who knows.

| Originally posted by Rissinite Ya I paid $540 one year and it was the shit. Not only were the lineups waaaay better then, but just the looks on the faces of the people in line as we were shuttled in night in and night out w/out questioning made it all so worthwhile...lol. Booze and waters...as much as you wanted. Then, Cameo, Surfcomber and ParkWest all took part. I remember walking out of Markus at ParkWest, into PEAK time of the ToolRoom party in the main room and then up to the end of Lawler's set before Luciano came on and swept the terrace clean, followerd by Timo Maas. That same year Sci+Tec (Huntemann, Ritch, Squillace and Dubfire) was there, Sharam and Dubfire closed the terrace, and the Surcomber pool party lineups were sick. |
So do you know what the deal will be with ordering drinks? Can i order 1, 2, 4? How restrictive are they at space in that regard? I suspect throwing a few extra bucks will help with more than 1 drink at at time.
Same question goes for Surfcomber...can i get a pitcher of those tasty mojitos?
Even though it's double the price now it's still worth it.
For instance, Eric Prydz/CLR party is (was) $80. Easily will ring up $100 bar tab (that's low-end). So say $200 (low end). For one party. And then all the Surfcomber parties are like at least 60+. Easy to see how much money you could save. And it's so much better when you can drink Belvedere and Patrons and get as much bottled water and Red Bulls as you want without stressing out about the bar tab. Definitely gotta do this next year.
Those prices back then were awesome for the FU pass. There were a couple years that I regretted not doing it, especially when the extra clubs were involved. Ever since then, as the prices have increased, I do the math every year and it just doesn't come out to a sure thing. I agree that the best part of the deal is the express entry. It would be nice to have that type of freedom. With only Space and Surfcomber involved now, though, you really would have to be there for an extended time (both weekends) to make it absolutley worth it. Plus, in my opinion, you already have to be planning to hit up several of the parties. Two years ago was the closest I came to purchasing it, but I didn't wanna feel forced to attend events over other venues because I had the band. That year I'd say I spent about $400 on alcohol at Space in two nights. Add another two events to that, and it may have been worth it. Problem is, I don't really care for pool parties, especially at 'comber, and I'd be forcing myself to go and drink. If you're already dead set on about five parties between the two, though, I'd say it should at least come to a push. The other advantage is grabbing a few drinks for others in your party along the way. Some bartenders are strict and keep an eye on it, while others don't really care.

what's the dress code like for ice palace and space? Do you think you could get in with shorts/ tank top? Just trying to be as cool (no pun) and comfortable as possible for a night of grooving with hot creations and prydz.
