Different parts of the basin crust have different isotopic signatures. This means the crust is heterogeneous with differing magma sources. The older crust formed by extension and rifting has Pacific MORB affinities while the newer seafloor spreading crust has Indian MORB characteristics and an arc-like source is also involved. Isotope studies indicate that initial Pacific MORB mantle has mixed with and been subsequently replaced by Indian MORB mantle. According to Hergt & Hawkesworth (1994) the data indicate that these variations are due to compositional changes in the asthenosphere and not the downgoing slab. This was accomplished by slab rollback and the southward migration of the propagating ridges. The source of the arc component may be contamination by arc lithosphere, infiltration of magma source by slab-derived flux and mixing between upwelling mantle and arc magmas during early extension. The data from the Lau basin suggests the isotopic heterogeneity is caused by selective melting of separate domains as opposed to mixing injections of different melt batches (Hergt & Hawkesworth 1994, Hawkins 1995, Taylor et al 1996).
i see... gotta read between the lines on that one...

Actually i love it because there is freedom, but on the other hand it gets hard if you know what i mean, i mean there is a SHITLOAD of bills.. maybe a down the track a little bit when i can handle it i'll come back solo again.
BUT for other reasons its because of my parents house, they are paying the house off over there when i'm paying rent here. If i payed the rent for this place to them for the house over there even counting all the bills then it will be good for them..
oh well..
oh du ist a gut boi mehran
