Well I want an Ass Degree in Science. They are the only ones that I see do it up here. It's pretty far from home but close to work. (Y)

ooh im going to LaGuardia CC in the fall! I'm still undecided so I am also going for an AS degree in Science instead and taking all the full lab classes so I can more likely transfer them if i decide to go on with my schooling after two years. This will be SUCH a far cry from my past schooling (which was in Business and Art)

do u think u might want to go on and become an Occupational Therapist vs an Assistant? I heard the curriculum is different for both...

Anyway im probably going to two orientation programs (the Cstep) on Tues and Wed which introduces new students to all their allied health programs and teachers. do u need to go to those too?

I want to become an assistant for NOW. I haven't been in school in a long time and I want to see if I can hack it.

What are you doing?

Wednesday I gotta go in and take those stupid entrance exams for reading/math/essay etc.. Then I can register fully for the fall. I gotta hurry!


Edit- Lyss is this ur first/2nd semester there? You got accepted to those "mandatory clinical labs??" I'd like more info and stuff since I will be just starting. Granted I took some classes in Miami Dade and wonder if they'll be accepted here. Like I took English 101 never went to the writing part (102). So I def gotta ask a bunch of questions when I go. I applied online and they took foreverrrr to accept me and move on to the next step.

its my first semester in the fall, only going p/t at night for now because i want to work fulltime during the day.

its been just as confusing for me. when i was accepted online back in April but they did not tell LaGuardia yet, i was having the worst time trying to get information out of the administration via phone(which i pretty much expected). I think in hindsight i should have just done a walk-in and applied.

im undecided atm but right now i want to challenge myself and see how far I can go with my science/lab courses to see where my strengths lie. im really looking to get all my Core Sciences + labs done and then transfer to a 4 yr program elsewhere. But hey as long as im doing this, ill see how well i do. maybe ill even go into Nursing since LCC has a 2 yr program here.

Im taking my first of two semesters of Biology and Anatomy in the Fall...should be fun <-- i was NEVER a science type of person back in the day but people and motivations change. so im pretty excited

I work part time at the moment so really focusing on going to school a few days in the morning/afternoon. I'm too scared to take the train at night Though it would be much easier to go after work since I'm 1 stop from 42nd st ( to 7 train).

but i totally agree with u about their pract. nursing program

Let me know when the season starts. Gonna try and do 1-2 things a month. Plus those are Friday nights and I have school Saturday

go to AC for the weekend. thats what i would of done if my wife was a wife and not a mother and i was... NVM. I'd totally go nonetheless.
