Eh, no use in complaining about the curfew. Is it bullshit? Yes, I love events that end late, because its much safer in terms of driving because you don't have to deal with all the clubs that get out at the same time. Like another poster said, its probably just another way for them to try to make money.

And I agree 100%, Gareth Emery is going to destroy the Neon Gardens.

Agreed. Simon will throw down hard. I'm not wasting my time to go see AVB. been there, done that, many times. some say he has to play harder for the massives (less fluff, shorter breakdowns) - generally true, but with the EDC uniformed masses, i'm not so sure. without you and bulldozer and a smaller crowd will actually be better than the cluster in the coliseum. ugh, if only second sun and tyas were switched...lol.

objectively, acoustics in the sports arena are 100x better than the coliseum (let alone a non-enclosed stage). wish the massives were not so popular with the masses - 07/08 MM events were so much fun. MM is ruined now in the parking lots.

yea parking lots suck, but at least you don't really deal with the excessive heat anymore.

Catch Patterson now before his style changes. He said he wants to stop with the harder trance and move into more vocals - bleh.

Sucks cause him and Tyas would be an amazing duo if they teamed up more - like a W&W kind of thing. Two good producers combined. Guess Patterson's preferences changed but for now - until he changes it all the way - his set should be solid. Tyas is my pick for best set though on that stage. Sucks he is so damn early.

Emery is gonna have the best set IMO

Any non-fluff trance will have the best set IMO.

If you arent a vocal trance fan, dont be at main stage saturday then. Go to neon for the insane lineup there Why risk above and beyond and armin if that isnt your thing? dont come back complaining it was fluff if you have psytrance and harder trance on the smaller stage.

All in all, i think the stage setup is great this year. I like how emery is on the smaller stage - no need to leave the neon stage to get a wide range of trance.

Should be a damn good event - hopefully no e-tard kills themselves this time. We dont want to hit headlines again.

Day 14 (May 11) - Sprouts have been up for a few days now. I think the light show I gave them helped.

I sure hope those are daisies growing and not random weeds.


Day 27 (May 24) - I am beginning to regret planting them all in one small planter. They are getting too big. I probably will have to separate them soon.


Day 58 (June 24) - I guess the flowers will not be ready by EDC

I think I would rather have the heat with the no line, real bathrooms (at least in the VIP area in the past) versus the overflowing porta-potties in the parking lots. At the last TAO, the "VIP" bathrooms behind the main stage were overflowing with the beat. Don't shake the trailer!

I think I'll be at mainstage a total of 3 to 4 hours the two days combined. Neon Gardens is going to be insane. Second Sun is gonna tear and they always bring the most energy by a duo I've ever seen

Pics of how the EDC setup progressed through the past week. They are numbered in order, so edc10pre1 pics are Friday the 18th, edc10pre2 pics are Monday the 21st, etc...

As hot as fucking hell as it will be in the day, bring a light jacket or sweater to carry around.

I'm looking at Rukes picture: http://photo.rukes.com/edc10pre/sli...0pre5%20009.JPG and the map and I'm wondering if drinks will be served to VIP on the second stage or just cabana and standing room? It looks a bit like nocturnal�s set up, which had drinks but was bigger if I remember correctly.

Also, what time do drinks start for VIP? I think I maybe getting there around 4:30 to catch a dj and I wouldn�t mind a drink before hand. Someone mentioned 7pm earlier in the thread. But, I don�t think it�s ever been that way before. Just want to verify.

one said "insomniac will be deploying crotch/drug sniffing dogs."

I think thats as possible as cops camping outside of clubs in hollywood.

Wonder how many dj's won't be allowed in because of it.
