The scary thing is those speakers can easily go lound enough to break your ears...gotta be careful when messing with the volume knob. I usually have it at 1/4 the way and trust me..thats enough for anyone. Most speakers would normally break before that point, but not these babies. What I love the most though is the booming, yet clean base..blows me away everytime I hear it and I feel like the luckiest guy in the world.

Next goal: get my dad into mixing so he'd buy the A&H V6 ......

sorry about the brighntess on some of the pics, with the table equipment being dark and that big window in the middle being light it confuses the hell out of my camera flash!

cheers dude, I got my brother to build mine for me as im pretty useless at DIY. I want to add some Black b&w speakers in the next month or two to finish it off

Hey mate, i tried to get you a pic of the underside but i couldn't get enough of an angle or distance for it to make any sense!

basically, the decks and the mixer did hang in without any support at all as we had a brilliant fit, even though the technics have no lip and the djm only has a tiny one they were still fairly safe. However you cant rely on that so there is basic framework on the underside to support them, it also makes the desk generally more solid.

liquidmist2001, if you want me to do a sketch for a table for you, let me know... I just need to know what equipment you have and what you would like it to look like - I have a sketch of the table Im gonna build for myself floating around the forums.

i think i saw the sketch that you made with autocad floating around. i have a sketch of my own (pencil & paper ofcourse), i just need to know what would be a cheap, effective material to use. i myself don't have any tools, by a friend of mine has a drill, and a circular saw, i'm not sure if i will seriously need more than that.

pretty much here's what i had in mind....recessed tables (only 2), mixer angled up, and cabinets/shelfs under to store the records...i would like it to be of considerable length as i might be adding cddjs later. i'll try to find my sketch, it's not going to be exactly to scale, but it should work to show you an idea of what i was thinking about...

I didnt use AutoCAD to make my sketch, I used MS Paint.

Cheap building material... Plywood.

Or MDF

MDF looks much nicer after a cppl of coats of paint than Ply too.

ok, i'm pretty sure i'm gonna need more tools than available to make what i have in mind, but i'm sure i can find somebody that has it...

please excuse the picture, it was just a quick sketch, and my handwriting really sucks...i could've done it with paint, but it would've taken me forever as i suck with paint...

i was just thinking something simple...a few shelves here and there, and voila you have a dj table, but damn son, u takin' it to a new level...

I will have plenty of time to build it... my dad owns a carpentry business, so he can get all the materials and has all the tools. A few weekends here and there, and it should be done. Trust me, the hardest part about building the table, will be getting the wood for a good price, since we are gonna build it using Maple and staining it cherry.
