I agree with Halcyon.. i don't think those sort of jackets are very hot, specially since they hide the boobs with stupid huge pockets in this last pics you posted, it looks a little better since it's tighter.

I have almost the same thing as that, so comfy and snug, keeps you warm.

I think that's part of the reason they're hot. Same reason why sweaters and turtlenecks are hot. Shows a girl is confident enough not to dress slutty all the time. Also, I think it says something about someone's character when they choose to dress for comfort over looking good. And yes, denim jackets are extremely comfortable. If you don't think so you just haven't tried on the right one.
