phoar i think i got to malta just in time for all the good parties, some clubs are shutting for summer thur went n saw roger sanchez who was meh, fri went to some other club, saturday drank too much sliovice then it turned into sunday went to see masillio who was better than sanchez but still not my thing, looking foward to this weekend got friends from oz here taking them out, then no idea but up and coming parties are plenty, need to find out where Ernesto n Bastian are playing, heard they were coming, be good to check them out aswell........ then maybe might look for a job
Just a quick one to let you know that if PvD plays everywhere in Europe like he did the other night at cream (best night of ttrance i have ever experienced, and guiseppee played live also) in Ibiza then its pretty much gurenteed that he will go back to back in my book. when someoneset opens with for and angel and the closes with saltwater your onto a pretty bloody good thing
just saying hey
well i have finally had a second to write about Armada Closing Party and to be honest i was disappointed with Armin.
Not only did i think his set was too hard and boring but because he didnt show to the pre-party at kanya when it was advertised as armin van buuren closing pre-party at kanya maybe i missread it but jeez im sure anyone cud b fooled then and ppl who showed up i think were disappointed too. i heard he only went to 2 pre-parties this yr. owell wuda been nice if he could have made the effort on the last armada night for the year
on the bright side Markus Schulz was amazing! couldnt be more impressed with this guy... he played an awesome set.
maybe my expectations were too high this time for ibiza but overall wasnt very impressed. now off to croatia for 3 weeks!

Agreed, Armada closing party was tripe, the armada night is not the greatest night on the island. However the the pvd run Cream is in a league of its own, went to 3 of them including the closing party and all i can say is.....absolutely fucking amazing (except the oakey set i had to endure)
first time seeing pvd and now i've seen twice and they are both the two best sets i heard and the set halliwell played at the closing party before pvd was nothing short of brilliant, and boy do the europeans love him to death. Chants of Eddie Eddie Eddie were happening all over the place....
The crowd even started chanting before oakey had finished and eddie was just putting his records down behind the decks
on a side note IBIZA ROCKS
i heard Armada did a really poor season. Gatecrasher killed them (apparently)
i just passed thru zagreb last nite looks like a pretty cool city. will be doing a couple days there at the end of the croatia trek. so mite check it out, thanks for the advice. its seems really busy in split i wasnt expecting many ppl since its end of the high season but its pretty packed. nice to be in good weather again too! perfect skies today and nice and hot.. beach tomoro!

Cream ripped armada night. |
