Ok true story that I find humorous.

Went to IKEA with my mom this morning (she wanted to see the shopping cart escalators and buy a chair) and as we are riding the escalator up as you enter the store a little kid in front of us asks his dad "Why is IKEA blue?" and the guy kinda shrugs and says "I dunno, because they picked it" and me standing right behind this and thinking thought blue + yellow = sweden and I kinda blurted "Well it is a Swedish store after all" and the guy looks at me and I could see the light bulb go on in his head as he made the obvious realiazation. As they got off on floor 2 I heard him say to the kid "That man said it is because IKEA is swedish and sweden's flag is blue and yellow."

So I helped a parent answer one of those 40 million questions that little inquisitive midgets ask.

I am glad I do not have kids and have no plans on having any at this point. It would drive me insane (ok...more insane)

Other than that I am eating a Giant roast beef from Arby's.

I dunno ... never been to killington before . I've been to sugarbush and mad river glenn (skiier only place) before however. They were both decent places to my liking. good morning to all! ok, i know it's afternoon for most people but morning for me is whenever i get up. got nice and wasted last night, and because i drinking liquor i didn't really notice. i suppose when i was sitting on my friend's lap and she dropped me on the floor and i was laughing so hard that i couldn't get up i noticed. then i drank some more. i've discovered vodka and lemon-lime gatorade is pretty decent.

went to an off-campus fraternity party and remembered why i hadn't been in so long, don't think i'll go again.

echo, i like the lighter purple font. your sig is lovely!

mr s, i'm sorry we couldn't hang out while you were in richmond i did drive by richbrau the other night and think of you though. good ikea story, i don't like kids either. ikea kind of freaks me out too, i don't really find the swedish names endearing.

orbax, what's shakin? mr s claims to be the shy type, there's a good chance i could terrify him into never posting here again i showed him how i reeeealllly drink!

occrider, i could never cheat on you, or anyone of my other little banshees. xoxo! i'm trying to ski more this year too. killington is cool, but it can be miserably crowded, so plan your trip carefully. the runs get icy skied out really quickly.

well, i was going to comment on how i think arby's is disgusting, but figured if i didn't have anything nice to say i would keep my mouth shut. the armin countdown just seems tired, and i'm just not too creative right now but hi, i didn't forget you!

btw, has anyone heard about "mtv true life: i'm a clubber"? my friend just saw it advertised and i'm pretty sure it's going to be utterly hysterical.

I was reading vtec junkies post in the NY forum and I doubt that this show will have any serious or dire consequences for our Trance clubs and communities.

I am about to drive the 4 miles down to McDonald's Qorld HQ and file a complaint against my local McD's across the road. They can't seem to figure out how to make their fries right

This is at least the 4th time I have gotten soggy lukewarm fries from them. Grrrrrrr.


daff...I am not a big drinker, I tend to be a social one. But I do know how "real drinkers" drink and it does not scare me except it usually means that I end up stopping my alcohol consumption early and making myself the designated driver. Had several times in KC where the people I was with were drinking a lot of alcohol really fast. I do have a degree in theatre after all and the number one pastime for theatre folk is drinking. Of course I am also older than most of you and the novelty of heavy drinking has worn off since I now have to pay attention to money.

Ahh I see.....I thought it was because you disliked your current sig. I was on the road at the time after all and was not really reading everything as closely as I usually do.
