lol...good call, the left one usually has the hotties

I can't believe Edgar V opened for Mark Farina...that's like having Eddie Halliwell open for Sasha. Shoulda been in seperate rooms, that way Edgar could have played more trancy and showed you how he got his reputation. This is the *one* time I think I would've preferred Little Mike to open.

BTW if Liz still reads this...is the Matt Hardwick/Eddie Halliwell date on yet? If it isn't please yell at Brad some more until it's set, I think I pissed him off enough that night asking him

Posted by AntronVee on Aug-23-2004 00:37:

wot happened, didn't get financial aid? oh yeah, have you heard "the sky was pink(james holden remix)? definitely getting that record when my loans come in.

and about above the dove, w-t-f mate. 2 choices for beer? whoever runs that place, or came up with the awesome idea of a 2 beer selection, needs to be fired. if you're only gonna have 2 choices for beer then one of them should at least be corona!

Posted by farley on Aug-23-2004 04:00:

Nah lol since I had to reboot you gotta tell me EMC's addy again..haven't heard shit in about a week.

And yeah, I forgot they had Sol, but that stuff is truely Mexican piss water...lol. It's kind of a wannabe Buddha, but not done nearly as well.

I'll listen to that...liked the G&D and Original to start with...I thought you'd have some prog recomendations though?

So many people shit their pants about these tracks in MD that are just cookie cutter as all hell Maybe I'm getting to picky, or the producers are just getting lazy

Posted by AntronVee on Aug-24-2004 21:06:

a few prog tracks worth checking out are:
tilt - the world doesnt know
mick burns - see me fall (matthew dekay & proluctors mix)
brian eno - an ending[ascent] (leama & moor remix)
chris lake & rowan blades - philth
michael burns - corrective tones (panoptics open sky mix)

those are the only ones i've heard lately. my personal pick off that list is see me fall, but how can you go wrong with dekay?

Can't go wrong with Rowan "Breeder" Blades. I think one of the guys playing with me at Syn played that last night. Is it fairly melodic?

Check out anything Benz and MD. Good deep melodic stuff. The new Deepsky on Yo is pretty good too. It's a double vinyl with a bunch of really different mixes.

I gotta find that tilt track. I still haven't heard it, but I love tilt.

Are you sure you posted in the correct Region? I notice you are from TX, why would you be interested in Denver Events?

yeah i could make some, but im lazy and likely Chad told me about them so youre sick of hearing em...but here goes anyways-

x-trax - plan 94 the voyage (northface) is nice, tho also reasonably old.

junkie XL - nightmares (f. infusion) is good, but has yet to get a proper release.

billy dalessandro - in the dark (grayarea) is a killer dark breaks song.

grayarea - gravity (original and grayareas albatross remixes) are ace.

still wishing syntax - bliss (wrecked angle) was out proper|
