They have excellent isolation but keep in mind they have smaller cups then others. They are supra-aural not super-aural, meaning they sit on your ears not around them. I really like mine.

lol, I take it you sold the Xone 92? How do you like the Rane? If it weren't for the lack of split cue function I would be saving up for one right now.

^ auujay said it. those phones sit right on your ears. sound isolation-wise, pretty damn good. the bass is strong, and it can get really loud, too. great phones, i recommend.
