Nope

when im ripped i cant play worth shit. hit edges all the time. i was playing a race online today. Playing against a guy with a huge rep and up for grabs was 17,000 in rep points. I hit an edge and flipped my car on the last lap. I was actually in the lead i couldnt believe it. I was so nervous. to bad. Im stuck with a 3000 rep.

Yea I know man, I get those anxiety attacks too, like Im so into the game Im sweating from every part on my body.

Yeah i swear to god its always sketchy. I was think i see opponents wipping out in front of me but then a split second later they continue to be ahead of me as if nothing happened.

Great game, I got it for Christmas and finished it in three days. Once I started on it I couldn't put it down. I started out with a Mazda Miata and used that until the Acura RSX became available. The Miata was surprisingly good in the drift but was getting hard to win with in the drag later on in the game. Getting the RSX solved that problem though.

I didn't really like how the RSX was in the drift, but it was great for drag and circuit (although it didn't handle as well as my Miata). I kept the RSX for quite awhile (until about race 85) even after the Skyline became available. My RSX had better stats than the Skyline until the Level 3 performance mods were unlocked. Then I succumbed to the evil and traded in for the Nissan Skyline. I didn't like the Skyline at first (sorry, I'm an Acura fanboy) but I got used to it and really began to enjoy it after awhile.

I got a few quick question though, how do you unlock more stuff like body vinyls after you've finished the game? I'm assuming you have to start on a new profile? Also, where are the special cars I unlocked like the "Rob Zombie" car or the "Mystikal" car?

the special cars are only available on "quick race". if you want a good drift car, try petey pablo's eclipse

I love online racing. But it disapoints me when noobs dont realize they have a firewall and they host games. I go through that 2 out of 3 times. Bumped my circuit rep up to 7000 yay.

I maybe will buy the network thing for PS2 so i ccan play NFS:U online. Does anybody have this and what connection?

it is rather quality, i started with a 206 and changed around to ahve a go at all the cars, the 206 remains my fave tho

btw, saved games are under the "application data" folder. I didnt find that out before i formatted my computer, oh well.

there is a util for it, look it up on google.

there is also a util that lets your replace the music in the game, although the title wont change since its hard coded into the game.

i have it and its the same as your conection to the net cable, DSL and what ever alse and its about the same speed too i will be getting my NFSU soon

I got a rep of like 1.2 mil playing 1 time through. 3 million is a little high, but if you play online alot I'm sure you could pick up points quickly.

i got the game, gfx r pretty good, soo many races tho mi god, im on race 95 and i cant beat it and i havea civic which i started out from the start, so meh, lol and yes i no im a noob, i did almost all mi races on easy eheheh and i still cant beat race 95!!!!

Suck suck suck, its all crappy for xbox, and hella easy, Gotham 2 is way better

whatever u say at least gotham has good graphics and doesnt have shitty ass controls like underground, plus nfs underground is like a shitty version of any of the GTs,only u cant customize suspension and gear ratio and all that crap. Id hella rather play gt one than crappy ass nfs underground

oh yeah and its not real at all how u cant spin people out or its hella hard to and u can take turns hella easily pretty much no breaking involved, and its onea the easest racing games i ever played even on hard its easy

its funny how this game has created so much ire. (and i havent been immune)

it really is like TFTF, some love it but most hate it. few see it simply as mindless good fun.

NFSU has some serious serious problems, but i think when it all comes down to it the game is very much like Rush.

-no driving model, tho NFS is always a bit better than rush.
-over the top graphics and courses
-cheating AI

but NFSU swaps Rush's crazy jumps with weak car tuning, but the sense of speed is better and there *is* some actual driving involved.

the demo pissed me off, but the game is pretty fun.

certainly no Metroid or Zelda tho - and if this is one of the best PC games of the year hell has frozen over|

WTF are you talking about better graphics and controls, I think you never even played the game, your just a hater or something.
The visuals in NFS:U totally surpass whatever Gotham 2 has to offer by miles.
Shitty controls ? maybe its you who is shitty, learn how to play
NFS:U is not the best, but its damn good, just too bad too many cheats ruin it.
