yeah, what a fvcking stupid idea. makes it sound like resident evil (which i thought was def better btw). the whole hell thing opens the door for all kinds of coolness. stupid stupid ppl. and dont go expecting loads of recognisable creatures either

i reckon john woulda had a chopper with a fully-armed exit this movie is that bad

i thought resident evil was a pretty average movie, without even really having played the games before...

came upon this funny movie which is a parody of Star Trek and such. Has nice special effects and decent acting.

Recently saw Crash.

Awesome shit!

I love how they portray everyone in this movie so close to realism and real life racism.

Posted by tachyon on Nov-03-2005 00:18:

i got star wars ep 3 dvd(imdb) and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou(imdb) starring bill murray as my b'day pressie

sw ep3 is good but the life aquatic takes the cake. if you like wes anderson movies like rushmore(imdb) & the royal tenenbaums(imdb) you'll like this

Posted by Aesthetic on Nov-03-2005 00:27:

royal tennenbaums was shocking. saw flightplan recently.. not too shabby.

Posted by AurallyDrifting on Nov-03-2005 10:54:

yeah Crash, saw it months ago, real good movie indeed.. at least for those into at least half-serious movies :P

I'd consider buying SW3 but having seen it about 4 times already i may hold off for a while haha.

American Pie - Band Camp

Definitely an exercise in trying to cash in on a popular franchise (though American Pie 2 and 3 sucked, imo) the fourth edition of American Pie focuses on the development of Stiffler's younger brother, Matt, as he is sent to band camp to make friends.

Hot chick rating *****
Acting ability *
Stiffler's brother's stupid faces *
Appearances from Jim's dad & the Sherminator **
Plot *

it's shit, but there are some funny moments.

1/5

i saw Serenity, pretty good sci-fi, very similar to Cowboy Bebop. acting was a bit dodge in parts and there were some generic hollywood moments but overall great fun

3 phasers

I saw Wolf Creek last night. Really disturbing shit

My sister was telling me how a lot of the story was based on the Ivan Milat case. Shown in following link
http://www.crimelibrary.com/serial_...iscovery_1.html

The movie was starts quite gentle and then just smacks violence in your face until the very end. I am going to see Chicken Little next time

And Falconio too apparently

haven't decided whether or not to see it.

I couldnt enjoy it because I was too stressed. I guess it might be worse for girls. I decided after watching it that I wouldnt go to movies like that for a long time

oh yeah i just watched doom with my dad, he didn't think much of it hehe except for the bits at the end. i thought it was alright action but i dunno, it was just like a poor mans version of aliens, not as good. also dissapointed the rock didnt lay much smackdown, not even one rock bottom i'm sure he could have pulled out the demons elbow or something lol. if it wasn't actually called 'doom' i reckon i would have liked it more.

I saw this two weeks ago by myself - during the day though - and although it was super disturbing the only lasting effects it had on me were:

1) I am never travelling through the Australian Outback EVER no matter what circumstances; and
2) Dont trust dudes from Play School - especially the ones whom have been married to Noni

I am looking forward to Saw 2 as it had a really good review on the News last night in its US opening - talking about how the two writer/directors are these young film buffs that have become instant millionaires.

Posted by Psygnosis on Nov-13-2005 01:24:

I know this might be a bit off topic, but i just making the storyboards for my short film. This movie will special effects like things blowing up and no not those fake looking blowing up stuff, music by Andreas Lindell (Dreas) or Nathan (Ballistic).. still haven't decided and a good story (i hope)

but 2 stories are decided, also have to decide on which story.

it might not be too late for the 2006 tropfest, if so, then 2007 tropfest.

anyways back on topic.

I heard Doom was good but games into movies hardly turn out good.. but really looking forward to "Prince Of Persia" coming.

At the moment, there is more good games than good movies out.. so fire up that graphics card.
