To clear things up a bit, Armin's set time is 6-10PM, There will not be an After Party and yes there will be lasers by Stellar Design.

It seems your right as ticketweb changed their media description for the event saying its going to be a "4 hour journey." But then this could possibly mean a 2 hour after party. If what the other guy said was true that Armin will do an afterparty.. then

thanks for the info - guess i'll wait to see armin sometime later this year in chicago - not traveling all the way to nyc for a 4 hour set - even if it is outside

plus what are good hotels to stay in close to the area the show is at??? price is really not an option so any hotel near central park would be great??
