Let me know if any spots still open up, I've had a busy Dj schedule this summer and finally have had a chance to get back online and noticed I missed the date

Should I just post it here or something and then if you decide you can grab it? Or can you just put me on the list or something as backup waiting to send a track to listen to or something? I dunno just let me know. I'd love the opportunity.

I grabbed the last one and put it on an mp3 cd and I listen to it on drives between the states when I'm DJing around.

Thanx

a --alt-preset standard vbr mp3 is better than the 192kbps equivalent anytime
But Im not sure if you ment that cbr > vbr or that it was about what you guys preferred to receive

Opening your eyes helps immensely.

*sigh*

No, I didn't. I have been working, like I've very clearly stated.

Now that I'd have some free time the other judges aren't present.

Just wait.

Well, should you need me just leave me a message on MSN. I'll see it when I make my hourly one-minute visits to my PC.

if you judges haven't downloaded the track i posted yet and can't download it from the link in the pm i sent you it is because i changed the name of it...

same track, but called "Oceans Apart - Caveman"

not like anyone else cared hehe
i'll pm new link

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Aug-12-2004 19:38:

Right, Luke is back. Expect an update tomorrow.

Posted by nickmahoney on Aug-17-2004 00:41:

is this still open for submissions

Posted by Jay M on Aug-17-2004 01:33:

Erm well officially not. But they may need more quality tunes to get their mixes full cause it's quite quiet from the judges' side... But that might be because of the three judges this time instead of one so they need to get things straight i guess.. I got some update and another some other (useful) tune if needed as well...... We'll have to wait

Posted by J.L. on Aug-18-2004 21:58:

can we expect an update anytime soon?

Yesh, you got it right.
I am due to move house the first of next month and there's a lot of stuff that's going to be happening for me, so I'm dropping out of this. Whether it's a temporary dropout or not depends entirely on how fast I can get a 'net connection going on in the new place.

So please don't send me any PM's regarding this thing anymore, OK?

I could potentially take over in your absence, if you wanted, but then the end result would likely not be as good as if you did it. Since the project is on hiatus, my suggestion would be to close this thread and start again later. All approved submissions would be carried over, of course. Otherwise the PMs will keep coming and we'll accumulate submissions we can't deal with.

Luke still seems pretty active about it.
It's up to you two, really, either way is fine with me.

Is there any specific area where you're lacking in tracks? Ie, more downtempo, warmup ones or more upbeat peaktime ones? I have a couple I could finish off and submit if you're still in need.. might save some time if I knew what you were looking for though

Posted by Matt on Aug-22-2004 02:03:

if you need it:

Spiritech - Monday Logic

could use some mastering help tho.

Posted by marsh on Aug-23-2004 15:49:

Here is a track I co-produced recently. I'm from Melbourne, Australia, and it would be awesome to represent our scene if you think the tune is any good

Instructions are there in my sig.

cheers

I'm getting a new track ready for this unite business. with new monitors, mastering and producing should be much better now. I'll post the track once the master is done... maybe 3 more days from this post.

"Signal 6 - Anthill"
