They did say that the CD would be released at a lower price than usual also. I don't know how much lower yet, so won't comment, but it would be nice if it were alot cheaper since it'd be giving something back to the fans for their support, in a way.
Ima buy the vinyl either way, if it's good

Sander and Holden do it because they have no where near the success or popularity as DJ Tiesto...so by giving stuff for free or giving "exclusive" things on their site they draw more people. DJ Tiesto on the other hand has probally the biggest fan base, rivaling Oakenfolds old one. He does not need to draw fans for free sets, t-shirts, misc crap because they come anyway. Tiesto does not need more people on his site or more people at his shows, unliek Sander, Holden and countless other DJs. People seldom realize that DJ's are also business men. This is their livley hood, their proffesion the thing that puts food on their table. I keep hearing people talk about Tiesto going for the money and he is greedy blah blah blah. It is so patently absurd for people to say this. I do not see these same people cry like little girls that Bill Gates is not giving away free copies Microsoft Office or Warren Buffet giving free finacial advice because they are worth billions, yet you bitch and moan about not getting free crap from a man who does his best to please you at live shows and by producing, a man who can not even hold a candle to Gates or Buffets dollar. Tiesto is doing the right thing...he should reap the benefits of this whole DJ thing for as long as he can. Remember these DJs are their own bosses, they do not get retirement plan or health benefits unless they pay for them themselves and they surley won't be DJing to the age of 65. So next time you bitch like a little girl about Tiesto being greedy and not throwing you a free tshirt remember this is his JOB and he would not go to your job and ask for something free simply because you are a fan. Wake up people, it is a tough world out there and money sadly makes it go round...maybe when you grow up and move from mommy and daddys house you will find this out and look back and say "damn Tiesto was a smart man cashing in while he could". |

Listened to the CD, some of the tracks are nice, most of them are "piew-piew-piew"-trance songs
Just listened to the promo and IMO it's a bit better than Just Be. Some of his new tracks sound preety good, nothing outstanding just typical Tiesto 2004 style. The opening was decent with some trancy breaks, but the ending track wasn't all that great. But overall It was better then what I had expected it to be. 7/10

You are all taking this way too far. It doesn't mean anything whether or not you're making money with your music. As long as you turn out good music, that's all most people care about. You can debate about all of this bullshit for an eternity, so why not just listen to the album instead?
Jesus.
Great album, btw.
I dont care if he chases the money, but I do care when he releases sub-standard songs. All but a couple of the new songs feel like they were just rushed for the olympics, often lacking the attention and quality that many of his productions usually have, and lethal industry wasnt even 2004 remix.
Many people really do talk bullshit.
IMHO he's the only one who produces many tracks which are not standard trance. He takes risks with producing his own style.
He could do the trick over and over again (like Ron van den Beuken), but he uses completely different sounds and patches in each song (not talking about the 2004 remixes on the cd).
I don't like all the tracks, but I think it's nice music, quality stuff. And the best thing: It's original, more original than the most stuff released at the moment.
Tiesto - Heroes <-- this tune rocks

Re: Re: jj
I heard it last night, and I must say that it shits on Just Be. Yes, I attempted to listen to it with as little bias as possible, and I still loved it. More uplifting that his Just Be stuff, and a lot of the trance that has been released lately. Nothing over-rated or cheesy, either. The only dissapointment was Traffic, but the other tracks quite make up for it.
10/10 ![]()
Oh, and for those who say "omg dont get this buy the cd support the artist!", I was already planning on picking up both the CD and the Vinyl-pack. Deal with it.

The track before Lethal Industry isnt the remake of Norefjell
its Olympic Flame... dunno where you shouldve heard it before tho
i love the Theme from Norefjell remix.. sounds really raw and dirty. the production is very amateurish really, but i like that. a track's beauty lays in its imperfection.
the other tracks didn't do much for me
