Don't discount La Posta, it's only two miles from your hotel. It does the job.

NICE ONE CDN!!!!!!

Tacos El Gordo weekends close @ 3:00am and open @ 10:00am . . . all locations. Weekdays close @ Midnight. TJ is more fun anyway after 3:00.

I didn't know there was a location in Pacific Beach too.

I learn something new on TA Forums every day.

Posted by AmorilVryce on Nov-14-2004 20:32:

yes please post pics! G&D were good at On Broadway, but Markus was unbelievable at L5.. (still waiting for my hearing to return )

Posted by gameson on Nov-14-2004 21:17:

u did go to L5?

yap, my hearing now is at its worst state. never know it's going to be that loud, at least not in 'on broadway'. next time i'll bring ear plug to L5.

Posted by AmorilVryce on Nov-14-2004 21:39:

ya, I got to L5 shortly before 2am, I'm glad I stayed for the entire G&D set @ On Broadway (it seemed pretty quiet there, sound wasn't up as loud as usual). That was my first time to L5 and I didn't realize it was going to be that loud either. I'm sure that it didn't help I was pretty much to the right of Markus for those 2 hours either

Any recommendations for good ear plugs to use, I don't want to be deaf when I hit 30 ya know?

Posted by gameson on Nov-14-2004 22:06:

i think i see u, but not sure

here is some ear plug

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...&s=hpc&n=507846

$2 for 5 pairs. reviews are excellent

Posted by DaveT on Nov-14-2004 23:23:

The problem with spunge earlplugs like that is they muffle the treble horribly.

The Etymotic ER20 high fidelity earplugs is about the best you can get for its cost. Only $12. Better than ANY spunge earplug you will ever but. Cuts down the decibles w/ no loss in quality.

http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er20.asp

You can buy them at Guitar Centers and Sam Ash Music stores under the name "HEAROS High Fidelity Series" ... the same exact thing. Remember, the ER20s are the awesome ones for its price.

Guess what guys, Tonight's GDJB will be great, The first two hours will be a set from Markus Schulz recorded live from L5 at San Diego last night.

Posted by gameson on Nov-15-2004 00:18:

how do i get the CD from last night markus?

daveT, it only reduce it to 20 dB. do u know anything that can cut it down more than 20 dB? last night was my first night where my ear is really ringing the next day i wake up. i never have this problem in any of my rave/clubbing experience ever in my life

Posted by CND on Nov-15-2004 01:20:

My ears aren't ringing, though I did have a date with my couch all afternoon.

Lots of fun last night. One of the highlights was when Markus dropped Gabriel & Dresden - Arcadia with Josh Gabriel standing just in front of me.

Posted by DaveT on Nov-15-2004 01:33:

Note that if your ear is ringing after going to a club, it's not because of the volume, it's because of the tuning.

If a system is tuned right, it can be loud as can be and not cause your ears to ring.

Anyhow, 20db is a considerable amount.

Dave
