I'll paraphrase badly, because I'm stoned , buut after one particularly athletic dunk by Carter, one commentator says something like 'that wasn't (Carter) tonight, though'...other announcer chuckles, 'no...that was a loooooong time ago!'. |

LMAO, jokes.
I should have said 20 pts per game with good effort.
Having said that, good game by Raps tonight. Total team effort with Palacio having an excellent game.
Araujo and Pape Sow look so lost on the floor.
What a sick dunk by Carter.
I'm starting to like mat bonner
he's finding his confidence, and had a very cool performance tonight
didnt watch the game, but the stats are impressive...
specially palacio
hope they keep it up
i am really interested in this thread!
i watched them today on TV while they played NY Knicks -
Nice game by the Raps. Looks like they are having some fun on the court, finally. Hopefully after this game Vince realized that it takes very little to fire up a crowd in TO. They booo him before the start, they love him after he dunks. If the crowd is into the game the Raps win.
i enjoyed tonight game as well... the RAPTORS won at least! Toronto is sorta on a roll with WINNING> which is good...
Bonner has been impressive. Works hard. Hits jumpers and chases rebounds. (Unlike Sow, Moiso and Araujo)
Yeah with reguards to vince, it does take very little to fire up the crowd with his dunks.
Anyone who plays a little bit of serious basketball knows that to get your outside game working when your shots aren't falling, it's usually a good idea to drive, get some easy baskets or fouls near the hoop to get your rythem back. Since he actually went out and got a couple dunks last night [only after the media critisized him tho], he got his own game working. Keep doing that vince, no one looks down at you for being one dimensionaly just because you can dunk.
A win against Miami and 60+ points by Shaq + Wade... goddamn, that was a tight game! And they won in spite of all the bad calls from refs. Even coatch got so pissed at one point in time, I thought he was gonna get slapped with a few technical fouls.
Again, Carter was a no-factor in this one with 5 points, but a couple of huge defensive plays in the last minute. Having Donyell back in the lineup can only help this team... GO RAPS!
didn't see the game cuz of stupid basic cable...But I knew they'd win this one. Seems as tho the raps this year play best against the better teams. That and the fact they'd lost a couple shitty ones recently, I knew they'd step up. Rafer was also due for a good game, he missed his chance to perform well at home, and I knew he wasn't gonna let his return to Miami slip by without playing well. Overall from what I gathered, good game for the raps.
i didn't get to see the game either cuz of work .. but glad we finaly broke out road losing streak !

| Originally posted by Crazy Serb That's always been the case with Raptors... they beat the Top 10 teams, but lose by the teams on the lowest bottom of the league. If I was Sam Mitchell, I'd be rolling my eyes as well and wondering WTF... |

just to bring this thread back to life... for the sake of throwing rocks at Raptors some more.
First they lose to Boston the other day with soooooo many careless turnovers, it seemed like Boston was playing a High School team of guys just anxious to get rid of the ball and scared of actually dribbling it. Unbelievable. And then Jalen gets the ball stripped from him during that last second shot attempt by "The Glove" like some rookie... geez!
And I thought they really couldn't top that one, but tonight, at New Jersey... they've outdone themselves. Had the lead all game long, and then lost that lead in the last minute. A couple of really dumbass shot attempts (forced shots) by Jalen, a couple of ridiculously stupid shot attempts by Carter, as well as that last second layup attempt by him (he missed a layup yet again! when is this guy gonna learn that layups don't work with 3 defenders on your ass, DUNK IT YOU DUMBASS!!! The guy can jump OVER a 7 foot guy, but can't pull off an easy dunk without anyone in front of him? FIRE HIS ASS!)
They're just going deeper, and deeper, and deeper... to the bottom of the table! And then they'll end up firing the coach again (ha! like it's his fault these idiots are taking stupid shots and trying to play the game 1 on 1).
FIRE PEDDIE !!!
it's official....We're garbage again.
I think it's a locker room problem so deeply rooted that even if we get rid of the problem [vince] it'll still take us a few more years of moves to be fully past it. It's time to tear it all down and start again.
Btw, have you guys seen any of the Phoenix Suns games this season?!!! Now that's some attractive basketball with a lot of wins as well...
